@preterniadotcom Tbh I disagree with getting premium if you're just going to get one thing. I had premium last year and couldn't get the Savage Land pack. It's cheaper to pay 3rd party for Xavier then to buy him and Hasbro permiun.
@mjc1473@preterniadotcom Yup. I had an item arrive damaged. I went to the store within the *14 day* return window. They refused to return it.
I called Gamestop *NEXT DAY*.
They refused the return because it was "outside the return window" and had "no proof I was at the store within 14 days" Eff them
@anthonyvito8@SRelishman "Fall in price quickly?"
It was a Weekend drop that no one knew about. Gym Bro had a little SDCC timer.
Assuming DDS comes back in stock in EE and BBTS, and assuming it's not sold out a second time, you're going to be paying ~$45 minimum if you want to ensure you get the figure.
@GrandpaStern@preterniadotcom Fan channel / retailer exclusive.
Unfortunately.
So EVEN IF he comes back on BBTS and EE,
and EVEN IF he's not sold out that second time, you're probably going to pay $45 minimum if you want to ensure you get the figure.
@MrOzShow@preterniadotcom With the date night skeletor I don't know, but with Gym Bro (who was only $50) custom soft-goods/towel, and custom dumbbells featuring real metal accents, which increased production complexity compared to standard retail figures. And the packaging was really intricate.
@KellyLe19548424@DanYunIsTrying "Comic accurate" doesn't make it less phallic looking.
The first sentinels looked like this and were 10 feet tall. Would they make a good figure?
@GriffinJames69@StephenKing I mean, *if* you consider the head, sleeves and bottom "holes", it's not really a functioning shirt (except for e.g. people without heads, arms, and legs). So it's 12.
@DarthVader1701@Speedfreak992@ToddManyNumbers It's not worth it.
Like.. for a 10/10, five star figure, sure.
This... cute little interesting artifact, no. Not worth the hassle.
Pay $100 online if you want it. It's MUCH less painful than dealing with Gamestop.
@NicholasJLevi@collectorman813@preterniadotcom Regardless, I have no doubt in my mind what Burton came up with for Bat 3 would be infinitely superior to the campy homoerotic Forever.
What's frustrating about that movie is some things really work! Nicole Kidman, Chris O'Donnell. Even Jim Carrey in Frank Gershin kind of way.
@Redsayian2014@preterniadotcom Yup same I just want the minifigs too. And the little minifig Pokemon.
Probably only way to get 'em tho.
e.g. People are saying "Lego will release cheap Zelda sets with the movie!"
Uh, no. Their license with Nintendo is SUPER specific and they released no "Mario movie" sets.
@Pitter_Official@preterniadotcom McFarlane has been a mixed blessing.
Love the Batman 89 and Nolan trilogy stuff.
I've gotten some GRAILS via-rereleases (BTAS Montoya, Bat Cave go for hundreds online).
But I HATE HATE HATE the "red label" exclusives.
@SonofSpenceley@preterniadotcom I'm a fan of both and I still don't get it.
The minifigures (and little Pokemon) are all I would really want from a "lego Pokemon" set, but you have to pay $300 to get them.
They can't just sell those in a $20 set? They HAVE to do the giant pokeball diorama?
