I accidentally walked into the wrong interview.

I was already nervous, so I didn’t notice until the interviewer said,

“Tell me why you want this position.”

I looked at the job description on the table.

It wasn’t the job I applied for.

I said,

“I think there’s been a mistake.”

The interviewer checked his computer.

Then he looked at me and said,

“You’re right.”

I apologized and stood up to leave.

He stopped me.

“Actually, stay.”

I asked why.

He said,

“We’ve been trying to fill this position for six months.”
