I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by Swiggy's complete lack of response and action regarding my previous report of ongoing fraud and misbehavior by a repeat customer on Swiggy Instamart, which I submitted on September 3, 2025, and also shared publicly on Twitter (X) for greater visibility. Despite providing detailed evidence, including screenshots from myself and two other affected delivery partners, no investigation has been initiated, no updates have been provided, and the scammer continues to exploit your platform unchecked, putting more partners at risk.
As a dedicated Swiggy delivery partner (ID: 6760859), I have incurred significant personal costs due to this negligence: I paid โน222 and โน144 out of pocket for the Cash on Delivery (COD) orders involved in the incident (order IDs: 215864039028611 and 215864540925588), which I had to cover myself after the customer's aggressive threats and misbehavior forced me to return the items. Furthermore, in an effort to escalate this issue publicly and hold Swiggy accountable, I specifically purchased a Twitter (X) Premium subscription for โน170 just to post a detailed paragraph about your poor handling of the situation, as your internal support has proven utterly ineffective. This is unacceptable service from a company that claims to prioritize partner safety and fair practicesโyour inaction not only enables fraud but also erodes trust in the entire platform, leaving partners like me vulnerable and financially burdened.
I demand an immediate investigation into the reported customer, reimbursement for my out-of-pocket expenses totaling โน366, a full refund for any related fees, and concrete steps to protect partners from such exploitation, including better monitoring of bulk orders and account creations. If no response or resolution is provided within 48 hours, I will escalate this further through social media, consumer forums, and relevant authorities. Please treat this as a formal complaint and provide a detailed update on the actions being taken.
