KEY ISSUES AFFECTING NIGERIA AND IT'S CITIZENS🇳🇬
1.HISTORICAL INJUSTICES: The lingering effects of the Nigerian Civil War (1967-1970) are a major factor. Post-war policies, such as the flat rate of £20 for all pre-war bank deposits regardless of the actual Amount.
2. ABANDONED PROPERTY POLICY," and the Indigenisation Decree of 1972, are seen as deliberate efforts to economically disenfranchise the Igbo people and HINDER their recovery.
3. POLITICAL EXCLUSION: Many Igbos perceive a systemic exclusion from top political and strategic national security positions.
Nigeria has not had an elected president of IGBO EXTRACTION since the First Republic.
4.THE SOUTH EAST is also the only one of Nigeria's six geopolitical zones with just FIVE STATES , leading to less representation in the National Assembly and lower federal revenue allocation compared to other regions.
5.ECONOMIC MARGINALIZATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE: Underdevelopment and a lack of critical infrastructure in the South East, such as the deliberate underuse of SEAPORTS and the slow development of the International Airport in Enugu. This FORCES Igbo business owners to rely heavily on CONGESTED Lagos ports,
where they also face HARASSMENT and extortion at numerous police CHECKPOINTS on the routes leading to the SOUTH EAST.
6.ANTI-IGBO SENTIMENT AND DISCRIMINATION: Anti-Igbo sentiment, or "Igbophobia," exists and manifests in various forms, including ethnic profiling, discrimination in housing and employment, and online hate speech.
DURING THE 2023 ELECTIONS , there were a lot of threats and violence against Igbos in Lagos, aimed at preventing them from voting, which exacerbated fears and the feeling of being "SECOND-CLASS CITIZEN.
7.HUMAN RIGHTS CONCERNS : Pro-Biafra secessionist movements like the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have emerged in response to these perceived injustices. The Nigerian government's handling of these groups, including the prolonged detention of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu against court rulings, has been criticized as a violation of human rights and selective JUSTICE.
THIS COUNTRY CAN NEVER MOVE FORWARD IF THOSE ISSUES ARE NOT ADDRESSED.
@P_Chimereze@markessien Lol even as that.
considering the time I placed the bet it's worth it cos the share has dropped as of now.

Dear beloved sports-loving Nigerian youths,
After watching the performances of Davido, Burna Boy, and Rema at the opening of the 2026 World Cup—at a time when Nigeria, the giant of Africa, is absent—I felt a measure of consolation. This was reinforced by the fact that many Nigerians playing for clubs worldwide are representing other countries. Felix Nmecha, for instance, set a record by scoring the fastest goal at six minutes for Germany. I write to you therefore, knowing that this country belongs to you, the youth.
You are more of stakeholders in Nigeria’s future than I am. I am 64 years old; by God’s grace, much of my journey is behind me, while yours lies ahead.
It is therefore imperative that you rise to the challenge by obtaining your PVC, your most powerful tool for driving the change you desire.
In the last three years alone, over 15 million Nigerians have turned 18—enough to decide who becomes President, Governor, Senator, Member of the House, or Local Government Chairman. Indeed, enough to shape the nation’s future.
I know many of you are sceptical about politics and political parties. I understand why, but scepticism must not become surrender.
You do not need to belong to any party or wait for anyone to organise you. Organise yourselves in your streets, campuses, communities, workplaces, churches, mosques, and social groups. Mobilise, debate, demand accountability, and take part in choosing those you wish to entrust with leadership.
If you are organised and wish to hear directly from me, invite me. I will come and share my plans for you and our nation.
Do not sit on the sidelines while others decide your future.
I appeal to you to register and vote. Your vote can shape who becomes the next President of our country.
My young friends, this is your country. Take it back.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
Fellow Obidients, the name of this game is POLITICS!
We moved to the NDC when the times were rough and our leaders negotiated their way through.
Firstly we got the Presidential and Vice Presidential ticket OK without a contest..
That was a HUGE sacrifice by the party..
Also, remember that some people registered and have been managing the affairs party before our arrival hence we cannot have it all.
Talking about structure, you may not be aware that Mr Peter Obi has the South East zone locked!
So, if Sen Seriake Dickson gets some zones to himself and others that is not bad either.
In politics, everyone politician need structure hence you cannot relinquish all on the altar of being a good man..
Let's look at the bigger target which is winning the presidential election within the shortest possible time and refrain from the distraction of who got what and who did not get..
On the issues of THEO AND DENNIS appointment as head of media of the NDC, I personally do not see anything wrong in that so long as our interest and objectives aligns..
It is on them to understand the weight of the new role assigned to them and play by their rules. So long as they do not allow their past relationships and association to negatively determine their sense of judgement today I'm game !
It's also good that they are now faced with burden of proof since they are made the Chief Marketers of the product they once criticised badly..
In the US to JAMES DAVID VANCE who was once an ardent critic of President Donald Trump is the Vice President today! That's politics!!
Locally too, the former critics of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are working in his government today startng from Reno Omokri to Daniel Bwala then Omujuwa and his likes..
The most recent is KENNETH OKONKWO of LP yesterday who called Atiku Abubakar unprintable names is today his spokesman .
The game of politics only care about your interest and not emotions or sentiments!
If our leader Mr Peter Obi can work with H.E Engr Kwankwaso, Sen Omo Agege then we should take a lesson from there and do better...
There is no war in the NDC today, let's not disparage the party rather all EYES MUST BE ON THE BALL ⚽
