@u_Novichok@AatishKapoort @sachavada108 @raptor1991007 That guy is not worth getting into arguments with his takes are always half informed, he tries to give opinions like an expert on topics he has no idea about.
@sanka50952@ColossalArmin19@alpha_defense Who said criticism from a customer is pointless. It would affect their reputation regarding contracts and affect their negotiation ability with other nations. In no way would any company take criticism from such a big customer lightly.
@ShiroBarks I don't think MF-STAR can be embedded on the bridge like in the render, it's a mast mounted radar and the one on the mast doesn't look anything like it
@AatishKapoort@Defencematrix1@D74283Dey@kib_reddy Data fusion doesn't increase the size of the antenna, don't say things which physics doesn't allow. Data fusion will help integrate and give a bigger picture of the data collected separately from all the three radars it won't physically integrate them to make a bigger aperture.
@AatishKapoort@Defencematrix1@D74283Dey@kib_reddy@grok It uses a TSA(Tapered Slot antenna). Similar to rafale but different in the kind, rafale uses a Vivaldi type antenna. What do you think is the difference between these two antennas? One has elements poking out of it and the other is planar. The planar one is planar patched array
@AatishKapoort@Defencematrix1@D74283Dey@kib_reddy Byelka nose mounted radar has 1500 TRMs compared to 1400TRMs of APG-81, so 150km+ is not the search range but track range. As it is with 200km of Byelka. The difference of 100 TRMs won't double the range.
@AatishKapoort@Defencematrix1@D74283Dey@kib_reddy Hah... There is no point arguing with someone like you who thinks his quick chat gpt searches give him complete knowledge. Go read on TSAs, Vivaldi antenna, planar patched array antenna and notched array antenna/slotted waveguide antenna in AESA not PESA
@AatishKapoort@Defencematrix1@D74283Dey@kib_reddy Byelka has a range of 200km at best which is better than AN/APG-81's >150km but not double. And considering F-35's low RCS of 0.001m² compared Su57's 0.1m². You would be better off with a F-35
