@MindHealthMaker Its worse. They aren’t just repeating the same lies day in day out. They’re compounding delusions ontop of each other for their whole life. Delusions to support or justify previous delusions. Multiplied by decades. Thats why truth is so terrifying to them
@delonperc I world say i have met a few incompetent narcissists. Bad at lying, only capable of manipulating the most vulnerable people, etc. i dont think how successful they are at being a narcissist changes the reality of their psyche and behavior
@wynick@BombNFTs@iam_biglad1 Reactive abuse is when they make you snap, AND THEN use your normal human reaction to long term abuse to paint you as the problem. Its exactly what the original poster described
@karenmitchell__ Some ppl… when they cant have a positive impact, learn that having a negative destructive impact is better than none. Bratty child stuff. Dark triad types seem to fall into that category, just cranked up to a pathological degree.
@firstladyships But they cannot be you. Only a poor imitation, as perceived by a narcissist incapable of understanding why you are you. The sad part is- most ppl still fall for it
High intelligence often comes with heightened pattern recognition. You start noticing social masks, forced conversations, performative friendships, hidden motives, emotional immaturity, and energy that feels draining instead of nourishing. Many highly intelligent people also have more active nervous systems, deeper inner worlds, and lower tolerance for superficial stimulation, so solitude can feel safer than constantly shrinking themselves to fit environments that don't feel aligned.
@PAcumbria Its a result of neglect and/or abuse in childhood. Thats why they act like toxic 5 year olds or like middle school bullies. They stagnated emotionally.
@Ryan_Daigler They’ll smear campaign you just cuz you are what they pretend to be. Tearing ppl down to make themselves look better is like breathing to them
@Ryan_Daigler Raising awareness is important, but useless without the emotional intelligence required to recognize the behavior patterns and understand what you’re seeing… tall order these days
@UrmominTn@Squeeze1i Its genetic. Narcissistic/psychological and emotional abuse can lead to brain damage that can mirror autism/ADHD pretty significantly- but they are not the same
@UrmominTn@Squeeze1i It is a thing. Autism and adhd are both labeled as severe mental illnesses. It helps yall to see us as we are to have another category so you dont just project whatever catch-all, horrendously offensive “mentally ill” stereotype you have in your head
