@theoldzealand I would say you cant criticise the referee for a decision when you score minutes later anyway and had at least two more chances including a 3 v 1 counter to win the game.
@LaLigaMichael Tbf, it didnt help that carlo tactics was to cede the ball to norway and counter. Which btw nearly worked if not for bad finishing and vini giving up the penalty
@JanAageFjortoft Jan, why is Norway playing so passive. Odegaard is either losing the ball in dangerous spots or dwadling on it. And the whole team is playing at a snail pace allowing Brazil to get into a shape.
@NealGardner_ A really poor match so far from Norway. Too slow and passive. They look scared of Brazil and are allowing brazil to counter easily. The only time they were aggressive on the ball, they scored a goal
Some really poor decision making at the start of this Brazil Norway match:
Odegaard dwadling on the ball, putting Sorloth offside
Ajer's tackle on Cunha
Bruno penalty.

FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee did not overturn Balogun’s red card. It suspended the suspension under Article 27 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code, making him eligible to play.
The issue isn’t… 🧵
@theoldzealand Sure but how often does FIFA use this article to effectively overturn a referees call? It doesnt send a good signal and the US govt being involved makes it worse.

@D35P3RAD05@nocontextfm1 I used "diving" to mean "simulation" in basic terms. But a player can exaggerate contact, or initiate contact with another player without it being a yellow. Referees dont pull out a card unless it was 100 percent clear Harry was trying to deceive.
