Summer Reading is back! Prince William Public Libraries’ Summer Reading program kicks off on June 15 and ends on August 16 and has fun for all ages. Beginning June 15, register at any one of our libraries, online at https://t.co/ERHJ12pSJL, or on the Beanstack Tracker app. After you’ve read for 500 minutes–that’s only 20 minutes a day for 25 days–get a free book to keep! Visit https://t.co/ERHJ12pSJL to see the Jurassic-sized lineup of free programs all summer long.
[VD: Caption text above is overlayed as text over clips of librarians dressed in inflatable dinosaur costumes running through the library, digging up a book that reads "Unearth A Story. June 15–August 16," playing with a toy, holding a stack of mystery books, skipping up to the library, signing up on a desktop computer, signing up via cellphone (and dropping it), reading a dinosaur picture book and being awarded a dinosaur board book, and crashing into a small foam dinosaur skeleton and sign that reads "When Summer Reading Ruled the Earth."]

It's #WorldTurtleDay so we had to share a special update about Chinn Park Library's shell-ebrity: Squirt! While all libraries are closed for Memorial Day Weekend, watch him live on YouTube page: https://t.co/SCzIOkXzAr.
[VD: Squirt the turtle is moved downstairs by elevator to his new home at Chinn Park ASC Library. As his tank is set up, he explores the new space with a balloon tied around his shell that reads "Welcome Home!" He is reunited with his food and treats and then is shown swimming in the tank months later. The text overlaying the video reads: "Celebrate World Turtle Day by watching Squirt’s big move! Last fall, Squirt moved downstairs to Chinn Park ASC Library. Spoiler: we didn’t make him take the stairs. A huge thank you to Ridge Lake Animal Hospital and vet tech James who helped Squirt make the move. James also cleans Squirt’s tank every month! Back to the move! Squirt explored the new neighborhood while his staff, uh, library staff, unpacked his snacks. Shrimply amazing. Finishing touches were completed on the newly cleaned and installed tank. Swing by and visit him or watch his livestream on our YouTube channel anytime!"]
