🗺 The "Lessons of Geography" exhibition was visited by over 65,000 people
Over three months — around 4,000 tours across eight halls and over 10,000 independent visits. Maps, expeditions, the exploration of Siberia, military feats — and a school classroom with desks, where guests wrote with chalk on the wall‑boards.
Soon, an exhibition dedicated to theatre will open in this space.

⚛️ MISIS opens admissions to the Interuniversity Quantum University
The first intake for the Master's‑Specialist degree programme of the Quantum University — a joint project of NUST MISIS, MEPhI, MIPT, Bauman MSTU and Lomonosov Moscow State University. Students will have access to the laboratories of all five universities and will take part in early‑stage applications of quantum computing.
Applications are accepted until 15 August.

🤖 Nizhny Novgorod scientists teach AI to diagnose industrial machinery
A joint development by Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R. Alekseev and a Russian company — a neural network‑based system that diagnoses the condition of bearings, shafts, gearboxes and electric motors.
Before launch, a digital passport is created for each machine, and the system then compares current data with the expected behaviour of that specific equipment.
The initiative was implemented under the national project "Means of Production and Automation".

🖨 Tomsk Scientists Create Material for 3D‑Printing Radio Electronics
Radio physicists at Tomsk State University have developed plastic filaments with added hexaferrite powder. The material functions as a narrowband filter and absorbs electromagnetic radiation at 49 GHz. Filters, antennas and sensors can now be printed on standard consumer and industrial 3D printers.
The team has been working on the task for five years. The import of conductive materials has been hampered by sanctions — now there is a domestic alternative.
💬 "We have proven that this property is preserved in 3D‑printed products, and the higher the concentration of hexaferrite, the stronger the effect", said an associate professor at the Department of Radio Electronics at TSU.
