Information has reached me that the young man who welcomed me at Frank Man Furniture—when I went to purchase furniture for my campaign office—is currently being threatened by the Abia State Government. I want to state categorically that this young man was fully aware of the video recording. Due to these severe government threats, he became terrified and reached out to me, asking me to take the video down. This heavy-handed behavior by the Abia State Government is completely unacceptable.
A similar incident occurred when I was looking for a property to rent; a government aide threatened a landlord, Mr. Ifeco, warned him that his house would be demolished if he leased it to me. People in Abia State are now living in absolute fear, which is deeply concerning and will no longer be tolerated.
I am calling on the incumbent Governor to investigate this matter immediately and warn his aides to desist from these intimidation tactics. Every citizen has the fundamental right to support whomever they choose. I possess voice evidence to back up these claims. The young man explicitly stated that he woke up to numerous threatening calls from the Government House, warning him that his Master of Ceremonies (MC) contracts would be terminated unless I pulled the video down.
Is this what Abia State has truly turned into? If the administration is doing the right thing—as portrayed on social media—why are you so terrified of my presence? Moving forward, this oppression will no longer be tolerated. No citizen is more "Abian" than another.
