BARKIN LADI WEEPS AGAIN... HOW MANY MORE GRAVES MUST BE DUG BEFORE THE WORLD LISTENS? 😭💔
My heart is heavy. My eyes are filled with tears once again.
Today, the people of Barkin Ladi stood beside three fresh graves. Three innocent lives, cut short by another night of violence. On the night of Saturday, 4 July, armed attackers descended on the Rantya Gwol community, leaving behind death, pain, and broken families. On Sunday, 5 July, those three victims were laid to rest in a solemn mass burial.
As I watched another burial, I could not stop asking myself: How many more fathers? How many more mothers? How many more children must die before someone hears our cries?
Imagine the pain of a woman whose husband never returned home.
One moment they were together, perhaps sharing their evening meal, praying with their children, and thanking God for another day. Then suddenly, gunfire shattered the silence of the night. Fear filled the air. Families ran in different directions seeking safety.
When the shooting stopped, she searched desperately for her husband, calling his name with trembling lips. Instead of hearing his voice, she found his lifeless body. The man who had promised to protect his family now lay motionless before her.
Who will comfort her lonely nights?
Who will answer the questions of the little children who keep asking, "Where is Daddy? When is Daddy coming home?"
What words can erase the memory of a wife watching the man she loved carried away for burial?
These are the tears that no camera can truly capture. These are the wounds that no headline can fully describe.
Today, three more graves were closed. Three more families returned home without their loved ones. Three more empty seats remain at dinner tables. Three more voices have been silenced.
The Bible reminds us in 34:18:
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
And in 12:15 we are commanded:
"Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn."
Today, we mourn with Barkin Ladi.
We pray for every widow, every orphan, every injured survivor, and every family whose hearts have been shattered by this tragedy.
May God comfort those who weep.
May He heal those who are wounded.
May He strengthen those whose faith is being tested.
And may He grant lasting peace to every community living in fear.
My brethren, let us not grow weary in prayer. Let us continue to lift our voices for those who cannot speak and stand with those who are suffering.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted ( 5:4).
Lord Jesus, wipe away every tear. Protect Your people. Comfort the brokenhearted. Let justice prevail, and let peace return to Barkin Ladi and every troubled community.
Amen.
A Wife’s Tears, A Nation’s Conscience: Let Justice Have a Heart.
I woke this morning in America and was deeply moved by an emotional viral video of Hajiya Asiya El-Rufai, prompting deep reflection on our nation’s future.
Regardless of the allegations against Mallam Nasir El-Rufai or any other citizen, justice must be transparent and fair, with reasonable bail conditions that should not be seen as punitive before trial. In a democracy governed by the rule of law, institutions exist to protect every citizen's rights, regardless of their background.
We must resist any hint of selective justice that erodes public trust and threatens national unity. Those tasked with enforcing our laws must act professionally and strictly follow due process.
Let us strive for a Nigeria where the law is paramount, and where every citizen is guaranteed dignity and justice. This is the foundation of the New Nigeria we envisage. -PO
Who cares? So the same Trump administration that has declared “victory” over the genocide — while stopping nothing and not even hitting the most prolific killers — is going to “monitor” the election. The same Trump administration that won’t release the Tinubu files, and whose senior advisor is a Tinubu crony. And this is supposed to mean something? Just stop. Spare us the fake drama and false hope. Geez.

Grand Corruption: Nigeria’s Greatest Threat.
The recent report from the IMF consultation further raises concerns about the scale of grand corruption under the Tinubu government. The IMF now reveals that about N8.83 trillion in expenditure undertaken in 2025 is not reflected in the budget. This expenditure is not budgeted and is therefore not under legislative oversight or administrative scrutiny. This is horrible.
N8.83 trillion is as follows:
1.About 2% of our GDP.
2.Over 35% of Nigeria’s 2025 N23.96 trillion capital project budget. In fact, the amount is more than the actual released capital funding for 2025.
https://t.co/Hta3LViCB8 is more than the entire combined budget for education (N3.52 trillion) and health (N2.38 trillion).
If such an amount is properly used and accounted for, it could transform Nigeria’s public health and education sectors. It could create hundreds of cottage industries that can provide jobs for thousands of graduates and build a solid foundation for economic development. But we cannot account for it. This is not an isolated incident.
This is a pattern of grand corruption that has become part of this administration.
We have a lot to worry about regarding the state of corruption under President Tinubu. The sort of corruption that is ingrained in total disregard of elementary rules of public finance management poses a grave danger to national security and the stability of the Nigerian state. The capture of the Nigerian state and the plunder of its resources are actions that undermine the basis of state stability and deepen poverty and state failure.
This recent revelation proves that the APC government is grossly corrupt, incompetent, and insensitive. With the growing poverty and the urgent need for significant upgrades to social and physical infrastructure, a responsible and responsive government would ensure that N8.83 trillion is prudently utilised to address these gaps. But not the Tinubu administration.
A few days ago, I called on President Tinubu to resign from office for incompetence, lack of capacity, lack of compassion, and failure to improve on his campaign promises. Some people thought perhaps the call was excessive. But with the daily revelations of pervasive corruption in this administration and its total lack of commitment to the welfare and security of Nigerian citizens, the only reasonable action is for President Tinubu to resign from office. The collapse of elementary forms of due process under Tinubu and the increased evidence of rampant looting of Nigerian public finances reinforce the need for greater accountability. It is now time for Nigerian citizens to rise within the law and hold this administration to account.

250 years ago, a bold idea changed the course of history. Today we celebrate the people, principles, and enduring promise of the United States of America.
Happy 4th of July from the White House. 🇺🇸
@FootballSenegal The Senegal COACH is a suspect for match fixing.
The team collapsed after he pulled out Gueye and brought in a player who gave out a penalty and collected a red card.
My Vision for a Productive and Prosperous Nigeria
Today, being the 1st of July, 2026, I wish to humbly recall that when I decided to contest for the office of President of Nigeria, I pledged to place Nigeria on the path of unity and national transformation. Now, as the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, I will, in the coming weeks and months, provide insights into the roadmap that I am confident will help curb abuse in government, halt the decline in the quality of life of Nigerians at all levels, and usher in an era of unity, peace, sustained progress, and prosperity.
This vision is anchored on a commitment to unity, inclusion, social justice, equity, and the freedom of every citizen to pursue lawful dreams.
Central to this proposed roadmap are significant reforms in education and healthcare, which are at the core of human capital development.
Robust human capital is indispensable infrastructure for national progress. It serves as the fundamental capital upon which daily life, economic expansion, and the delivery of essential public services depend.
These are foundational areas that we must reform with energy and determination if we are to reap the demographic dividend of our youthful population.
From the outset of my presidency, we will establish a task force dedicated to drastically reducing the menace of out-of-school children. We will place greater emphasis on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to support our drive for massive industrialisation, anchored on our agricultural endowments and value addition across value chains organised around industrial parks to be located in development zones across the geopolitical regions of the country.
Funding and improving the equipment of TVET institutions, through partnerships among government, the private sector, and social entrepreneurs such as faith-based educators, will facilitate apprenticeship opportunities in the private sector, similar to the German dual education system.
The situation in which unemployment remains high while Nigerian entrepreneurs establish businesses elsewhere because skilled labour is scarce must be confronted decisively. Doing so is essential for the common good and for facilitating our transition from a consumption-driven economy to a production-driven one.
Character and civic education, emphasising the values that foster trust - an essential ingredient for enterprise and leadership - as well as shared national values, will receive significant attention within the tripartite approach to governance that we propose.

President Trump just said the U.S. "largely ended" the Christian genocide in Nigeria.
It's not true. And he's being played.
The strikes hit ISIS. The Fulani militias — who do most of the actual killing — were never touched. 28 Christians slaughtered in Plateau four days ago. 200+ killed over Holy Week. The death toll is on pace to DOUBLE this year.
Here's who's lying to him:
→ $10M+ in Nigerian lobbying contracts shaping what he hears.
→ His own Senior Advisor for Africa, Massad Boulos — his daughter's father-in-law — whose company SCOA is the preferred equipment provider to Gilbert Chagoury, the billionaire who's been handed no-bid contracts equal to 72% of Nigeria's entire federal budget. Boulos parrots Tinubu's talking points to the President of the United States.
→ Britain, sitting on $2 trillion extracted from Nigerian oil, still burying the truth about Biafra — where Britain armed the blockade that starved 1-3 million children to death, and has never answered for it.
→ A "coalition" of activists who got lured into Abuja's orbit and now sing Tinubu's tune - praising "cooperation" with the corrupt regime, platforming Tinubu's spokesman for a rousing APC campaign speech, silencing voices critical to the Nigerian government, and even giving Trump an award for a job not done... paving the way for his "victory" declaration just three days later.
→ A well-meaning freshman Congressman with no frame of reference for a 222-year-old jihadist doctrine.
→ His own counterterrorism advisors, who see ISIS as the only threat that matters. Short-sighted. Oblivious to the Caliphate. Blind to what's actually happening on the ground. They used "Christian genocide" as the pretext to greenlight a handful of strikes — and to them, mission accomplished. They hit ISIS. They were never trying to end the genocide, because they don't see that as "America First."
Nigeria isn't a side issue. Nigeria is almost 1/5 of Africa's population. Third-largest nation on earth by 2050. Top-5 OPEC. A trillion dollars in minerals. Nearly hijacked completely by radicals who believe — by prophesy — they're building the platform for the Mahdi, Islam's jihad messiah, to launch a final global conquest. They control the government, the classrooms, the military - every lever of power. China is looting the minerals and funding the militias while Washington gets fed a fairy tale.
If Trump walks away now believing the lie, it won't just be a catastrophic mistake. It'll be the most blatant capitulation to corruption in modern history — like declaring victory over a hangnail while Stage 4 cancer keeps spreading.
I believe Trump means well. He just needs the truth, clearly, before it's too late. For the innocent people being slaughtered, for global stability, for US national security, and for his own legacy.
CALL THE WHITE HOUSE: 202-456-1111
OR: Use the contact form at https://t.co/19xhy86gmJ
Tell him: Mr. President, you're being lied to. The genocide isn't over. The real killers were never touched. Don't let Nigeria become your legacy's biggest failure.
