In the course of our ongoing consultations, I visited the Jama’at Islamiyyah Society of Nigeria, where I met with Hajia Ramlat Okunola, Hajia Wonu Folami and other members of the community.
Our religious and civic institutions have long played an important role in the life of Lagos. Seeking their counsel is essential to building a future that works for everyone.
The Lagos PROMISE is about putting people first and building on the progress we have already made. With your support and partnership, we are committed to taking our dear state to even greater heights.
Dear daily commuters along the Lekki-Epe Expressway,Please be very careful when boarding buses to your homes or workplaces. We are currently handling a robbery case in which two young ladies were robbed of their belongings after boarding a small bus popularly known as “Korope.”
The incident happened before reaching Awoyaya, around the Container and Ologunfe area, while they were heading towards places such as Eleko, Lakowe, and Awoyaya. Apart from stealing their phones and a company laptop, the attackers also beat them and sexually assaulted them,
It was a pleasure to meet the Senior Pastor of The Covenant Nation, Pastor Poju Oyemade, a steady voice for transformation, youth empowerment and national growth, to discuss our shared commitment to the people of Lagos.
We spoke about the potential of our young people, how we can create more opportunities for them and drive true economic inclusion across every neighbourhood.
We are working towards a Lagos where opportunity is open to all and where no one is left behind.
Thank you, Pastor Poju, for your time and your continued dedication to the good of our people.
THE JUDGE WAS IN TEARS AS HE PRONOUNCED THE DEATH PUNISHMENT ON THE FOUR DEFENDANTS:
The job is never easy on our judges and some people will not behave themselves.
“You…, is hereby sentenced to death by hanging or through the administration of lethal injection. You shall be haanged by the neck until you are d£ad, may the Lord have mercy on your soul.”
When you wake up and decide to commit crime, always remember the implications and ask yourself what it is worth, your life?.
Fiat justitia, ruat coelum - Let justice be done, though the heavens fall.

I met with members of The Companion and The Criterion, associations representing Muslim men and women in business. I appreciated the opportunity to listen to their views and hopes for our state.
We spoke about economic inclusion and how state policies can better support the work of our professionals.
Our vision is tied to more opportunity, stronger infrastructure, better services and a government that stays close to the people.
The next phase of Lagos will build on the progress we have made, with continuity and a clear commitment to the people.
Yesterday, I spent the evening at Lagos: The Next Chapter, hosted by the team at 7-Fifteen Capital.
It was good to listen and engage with people who care deeply about the future of our state. I shared our vision through the Lagos PROMISE, our seven-pillar plan to move Lagos forward with practical and achievable steps.
I am always open to learning from different perspectives and transforming the best ideas into meaningful action that improves the lives of our people. The work ahead will require partnership and a common understanding of the Lagos we want to build together.
Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation. The next chapter of Lagos will be written by all of us, and together, we can make it a chapter of progress and possibility.
