🟡INJUSTICE: The High Court has overturned the conviction of Hon @JobSikhala1 and found him not guilty of obstructing justice. He will, however, remain in custody due to other flimsy charges.

We have always said the charges against Sikhala are baseless. He’s been acquitted on this charge but has served three times what the worst person in his position would be sentenced to. It’s normally a fine at best.

This is why bail is a constitutional right. The denial of bail for Sikhala remains a dark stain on our democracy.

Such travesties of justice must be avoided. How will they repay him for lost time and malicious prosecution when the rest of the cases against him are thrown out?

Zanu PF specialises in persecuting opponents to silence them.

Reports indicate that @Cde_Wombe was abducted in Belvedere, tortured and dumped in Mapinga on the outskirts of Harare.
