Just the average goth Disney Princess plant mom and weirdo with too much chest fat. Art whore and nerd looking to spread a bit of cheer in gloomy times.
@AV_says__@HimejoshiLover He actually lengthened the clone wars for the prequels. Originally it was a worker clone uprising put down in like a month or two by brutally murdering them all
@HimejoshiLover The original clone wars write up was even shorter than the prequels. It was an uprising of worker clones that the jedi had to put down, not an galactic war
@samgarc71153671 The fighter was kept cheap with standardized parts, no hyper drive and no life support. It was cheap but effective. The real struggle for tie fighter squads is they had pilots with massive attitude problems. It's why the pilots with some sense fled
@Avesvery The astromech is loaded from below in the N1, the sensor dome then extends up into it's canopy and the droid plugs into an assistant computer behind it to fully manage the fighter's systems. They are built to do this
@TheotherWill_NE@HimejoshiLover Jedi starfighters were designed to take advantage of the pilot being force sensitive. They were also not hyperdrive equipped, so they didn't really have need for a full sized astromech. Anakin had to modify his fighters to accommodate R2
@e_considine@HimejoshiLover Astromechs end up pulling a "watch out!" Quite a few times in the series. Their job is also to mitigate damage, and bypass damaged systems. Being able to see around the fighter is pretty vital
@HimejoshiLover@velroseplace It's not ripped out. The N1 has an assist computer that interfaces with the astromech which has it's dome extended from the barrel. The R2 line was designed for this
@toguemonmtg@DaTa_jp *engineered from salvaged drives from the Imperium. 1 drive firing up was safe enough, but they decided to fire up a few thousand at once which tore open a wormhole through the warp. So Tau no longer use FTL drives, but do have an FTL wormhole.
@toguemonmtg@DaTa_jp Ok, so quick fix on the tau here, Prior to 8th ed. Tau had Gravitic drives that were FTL that didn't use warp travel. in 8th ed the Gravitic drives were retconned. They decided to have their own Event Horizon knock off with the AL-38 Slipstream drive which was reverse (1/2)
@OneFineJay@BillWiIdin@_WasatchMan Traffic funneling, noise, how it will effect our agricultural infrastructure. The highspeed rails would arguably increase economic activity locally for sporting events, but it's seen as too disruptive to be worth it.
@OneFineJay@BillWiIdin@_WasatchMan There are also other things considered by the local stops, Several attempts have been made to run High Speed Rails between Austin, Dallas, and Houston. All attempts have wanted to go through my county and the county keeps deciding they don't want to deal with things like (1/2)
