#OTD 52 years ago. Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester died on June 10, 1974, aged 74, which happened to be the 53rd birthday of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Prince Henry is the father of the current Duke of Gloucester, and he was the last surviving son of King George V.
