Historian, history blogger, heritage worker. Anthony Woodville biography out now. Article Yorkists under Henry VII in September 2017 Ricardian Bulletin.
Just received this review from Amanda over on Goodreads for Anthony Woodville: Sophisticate or Schemer. Wow, what a lovely review!! 🥰 I’ve felt unwell for the last few days and this has cheered me up no end! ❤️❤️
Last of three tours in a week finished today. It was a private tour of a group I regularly speak to anyway. The rain stayed off! Great to see the Stuart Society left a wreath in honour of Culloden’s anniversary yesterday. #derby#historytour#guidedtours#tourguide
In 1835, two men broke into the Green Man Pub in Chesterfield and stole various items, including spoons which they tried to sell to a pawnbroker's in Sheffield. Our latest blog post follows the investigation which led to both men being sent to Tasmania: https://t.co/i2M8esyIS0
I think my time here is done. The interaction level is low compared with all the crap that this site brings with it. I’m really sad as this is where my history journey started and I found a great history community. If you would like to follow me elsewhere, see the list below.
@enttruth2 Thank you. I’m sorry to leave too as this is where things started for me. The content allowed on this platform has made me question for a while. Recent events feel like the last straw. I hope you can follow me elsewhere, even if it’s on the free email subscription options.

Best thing in this weather. Snuggled up on the sofa, underneath my Christmas tree blanket I was given for Christmas and just 100 pages left of this lovely book I’ve so enjoyed reading.
When you open up a rather ordinary looking rental from 1737 and the first thing you see is a lovely watercolour lying loose between the cover and the first page 😍
