Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) In-House CPD Training

UIPE in collaboration with the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), is conducting a three-day #UIPECPDTraining program for #engineering professionals of @UNOC_UG

The program focuses on key areas including systems thinking and lifecycle design principles, failure mode analysis and safety margin evaluation, as well as professional ethics, accountability, and critical thinking, among others.

The training is being held at the Golden Tulip Hotel and was officially opened by the UIPE President, Eng. Peterson Mwesiga.

Engineering with Integrity and Purpose
A UIPE–IRCU Interfaith Partnership

Today, UIPE held a constructive engagement with the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda (IRCU) as part of preparations for the National Engineers’ Prayer Breakfast.

The meeting marked an important first step in seeking guidance and partnership to ensure the Prayer Breakfast is inclusive, interdenominational, non-partisan, and anchored in established interfaith principles. The discussions underscored a shared commitment to ethical leadership, national unity, and moral grounding within the engineering profession.

We appreciate the leadership and guidance of the IRCU Secretariat and look forward to continued collaboration as we refine the programme together.

At UIPE, we remain committed to nurturing a profession that not only builds infrastructure, but also upholds integrity, stewardship, and service to society.
