Baseball coach and PHS math teacher Leroy Mansanales was named Secondary Teacher of the Year for Princeton ISD at inaugural Teacher of the Year banquet. Coach Mansanales, who is the chair of the math department, has been with Princeton ISD since 2017 and an educator for 24 years.
So proud of our girls today! Not our best meet but we did gain some valuable experience and lessons for next year! Getting to a state championship is never easy! Not many athletes can say they’ve been there! #panthertough!
Well we didn’t punch a ticket to state but our boys did go out and compete well against some tough competition! We set some new PR’s and that’s all we can ask for!! #panthertough
Girls Powerlifting team showed up and showed out at the 5A Div. 2 Reg. Meet As a team we placed 2nd overall! Congratulations to the following State Qualifier: Anny Barbosa Casallas,Olga Sauceda, Sheridan Parker, Kiana Lugo State Alternate: Anahy Vargas Super proud of this group!
Tonight, the 21-22 Girls and Boys State Qualifiers were recognized at the school board meeting. Being proud is an understatement! They represented themselves, their families, school, and community with pride and honor!
Sr. 242lb Andrew Bailey finished the state meet in 19th place out of all the 6A, 5A D1, and 5A D2 schools. He had a total of 1540lb over the three lifts. Congrats for a great year and career!!!

The Girls Powerlifting Team finished 11th in the State yesterday. Sr. Caroline Speer and Sr. Sabrina Brewer earned 2nd and 5th place, respectively. This trip to state was so special. These young women are so strong, both mentally and physically. Proud is an understatement!!!
