@ColinBrazierTV DWP figures show majority of foreign nationals claiming benefit in 2025 came here over 5 years ago during a Con Gov. As Truth and Reform are strangers, you'll do well at Reform.
Can we please not forget that Netanyahu historically supported & empowered Hamas in order to sabotage any possibility of a two-state solution & peace.
Netanyahu reportedly said in 2019- “Those who want to thwart the possibility of a Palestinian state should support the strengthening of Hamas and the transfer of money to Hamas.”
Former Israeli PM Ehud Barak said in 2019, “Netanyahu’s strategy is to keep Hamas alive and kicking ... even at the price of abandoning the citizens (of the south ) ... because it is easier with Hamas to explain to Israelis that there is no one to sit with and no one to talk to”
The former head of Shin Bet, Yuval Diskin, said in 2013, “If we look at it over the years, one of the main people contributing to Hamas’s strengthening has been Bibi Netanyahu, since his first term as PM”
So yes- unequivocally condemn Hamas.
But condemn Netanyahu as well.
Neither wants peace.
Absolutely this. Haven't tweeted much, been too busy @TradeUnlocked talking with and listening to all manner of trade stakeholders. There's energy here, waiting for a government that wants to work with it, rather than insisting it knows better.

Portugal plans to swap the entire 140 million euro ($152.91 million) debt it is owed by Cape Verde for investments in the archipelago's environmental and climate fund, Prime Minister Antonio Costa said on Tuesday. https://t.co/i1249bEmBv
@afneil It's so annoying when you think people are misusing a term such as gerrymandering. Not as bad as white people misusing the term 'woke' #potcallingkettle
@google Yet another ad in my FB feed from an Israeli company. Why are Israeli companies interested in advertising to a bloke in Manchester?

@hottuberrol @Anna_Soubry@pudseypaul This isn't anything to do with investigative journalism. Reporters for C4, BBC & ITV have reported Brexit impact. Simon Calder has been on BBC & ITV and clearly identified Brexit impact. Then a minister gets interviewed by a news presenter, lies, and gets no pushback.
@DannyCipriani87@jameswhile 4) Football became a circus, relying on players to openly cheat to fool an official, after the big money came in. Refereeing officials haven't kept a grip of on field discipline and can't now. Most elite football clubs are not sustainable, they are too highly leveraged.
@DannyCipriani87@jameswhile 3) There's always been an element of the dark arts in Rugby, as there was in football. You always pushed the boundaries, sometimes too far. You took your knocks, gave as good as you got, but never feigned injury to get another player in trouble. Football used to be that way too.
@DannyCipriani87@jameswhile 2) I played rugby at school in the 70's in Bootle, a poor suburb of Liverpool. We regularly played against 13 other L'pool schools in our division. We were feeder schools for the likes of Hightown and Waterloo. Only 3 of those schools play anymore, two are public schools.
@DannyCipriani87@jameswhile 1/ Rugby is declining because of the blue blazer administration of the sport. Preserve the moral compass that rugby has on the field, reorganise and restructure the sport's governance and commercial admin off.
I heard a guy from Germany on #LBC the other day who said that the rest of the world looks at the U.K. and wonders why we put up with what we do.
He said that our country is made to favour the top 1% and yet we completely accept that.
He said that no other country would put up with it. And they don’t.
Hey @campbellclaret are you any good at join-the-dots?

@adamboultonTABB@BorisJohnson I believe, till the day he dies, that it was illegal to go to the funerals of friends & family. I managed to catch-up with colleagues that moved to another role, when it was legal to do so. Sadly, I can't ask those loved ones to die again so that I can attend their farewell.
Exactly 200 years after William Wilberforce founded the Anti-Slavery Society, here’s Suella Braverman at a facility to which she hopes to deport trafficked victims of modern slavery.
