I’ve always hated how society treats ditzy or whimsical people. It feels like some folks have genuine contempt for pure joy. The older I get, the clearer I see it, and it genuinely makes me sad.
Made a list in my journal titled, ‘I like the way I feel when…’, and it’s a list of nice things I do for myself so I’m reminded to reach for them when I want to feel better.
