✨ You run into a former student at Target.

✨ Your mind races through years of faces, trying to place the student.

✨ The conversation is short and you go your separate ways.

✨ But it's the next several minutes when you remember that kid the best.

✨ But it's too late to go find them and say that you remember their name and all of these details about them.

✨ In the end, you just hope you're remembered as a fair teacher who heard them.
