If I throw a themed party— I’m going to hire an elementary school teacher to plan it.

When I get married— I’m going to hire an elementary school to plan the ceremony and reception.

Reason: Elementary school teachers make magic with a $50 gift card and construction paper.

Ms. Trumble's math group has a assessment at the end of the week. She started class by asking what they felt like they needed to work on as a class. Students picked what they felt they still needed help on, and then explained why. Then they started to practice! @berkeley_prep

Another update from Ms. Trumble's class: they moved on to working on solving 1 step story problems. Students were asked to solve using any strategy learned in class. Below are several examples of different startegies used.

I was able to help out with arrival at @MeversEagles today before our PLA. I had a mostly warm reception from the students and several parents. However, one middle school student rounded the corner, saw me standing there, and said, "May God have mercy on all of us..."

Ms. Jones's 6th Grade Social Studies completed their first group project that previewed all of the civilizations that they will be covering this year. The project required research and a presentation. Here are a few examples of their finished products. #socialstudies #teaching
