While at Four Heroes Elementary School in @CloverParkSD, I noticed skip counting patterns in the gym. Check out the video to see PE teachers, Mr. Crowley and Mr. Fitzgerald, embedding these patterns in the kids’ daily warm-ups!

Very appreciative of our custodial crew and our Maintenance & Operations team for keeping us safe during this snowfall!
Today we remember the four @LakewoodPD officers who tragically lost their lives 12 years ago. We honor their lives and sacrifice every day through the naming of Four Heroes Elementary School. We will never forget their commitment to keeping our community safe.
“Juneteenth signifies the end of slavery in the United States. We must consider it a “day on”, not a “day off”, and celebrate what we can do to create a community where we are affirmed, empowered, and valued. We are #BetterTogether.”
- @CloverParkSD Superintendent Ron Banner

Our Kinders have some amazing superpowers, like the ability to read sight words, add, blend words and (my favorite) the ability to be nice! 🥰
What’s your superpower?! 🌟
Our Kinder classes hosted “Superhero Day” to welcome students back from break! This allowed them to talk about the importance of wearing a mask and social distancing. The superhero training course made it an unforgettable day! 💥🦸🏽🦸🏾♀️
Our 5th graders performed a play from their reading curriculum about the rise and fall of the gold-mining town of Rhyolite! ✨ This included scene changes with student-made posters and 3 Acts of student acting! We are so proud of their preparation & performance! 🎭 Bravo!
A group of our 5th graders had the privilege of connecting with the Harrison Prep middle school leadership team for a peer-led conversation around stewardship & equity. What a powerful experience!
Thank you to @grant_twy for facilitating this work— can’t wait for the next one!
