It has been a pleasure to work in the community alongside the Worshipful the Mayor of Dartford and the Lady Mayoress over the past year. Thank you for all your support and congratulations on raising over £16,000 for your chosen local charities. Good Luck from us all at DSTC.
Today we said goodbye to our amazing receptionist Paula Tivey who leaves us after 5 years in post. She will be a big loss to the school and especially her team of student receptionists. We wish her the best of luck in her new position.

2018 DSTC Community Day was another resounding success. We are so pleased to have been able to help local charities and community groups. I was personally delighted to meet the Lord-Lieutenant of Kent and Lady De L'Isle who where suitably impressed with the girls work. Well done.
DSTC has Talent - it's official. Tonight saw the first ever talent contest supported by singers and dancers and organised by our Year 10 Music students. All 9 finalists did well and the judges took a long time to agree but our overall winner for 2018 was the superb Renee Plumb.
Due to the unprecedented hot weather, we have decided to postpone the Race for Life run today. We have to ensure the safety of the DSTC community above all else and so we will let you know of a revised day, most likely Thursday. Details to follow.
I would like to congratulate our newly qualified teacher Katherine Barnarte on her recent success at the Tang Soo Do Association (Karate) WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS where she came 1st in 3 categories and is now Adult Female World Grand Champion. An inspirational and amazing achievement.

Congratulations to the 2 Year 7 students who have gained over 400 reward points this year and had a lovely lunch with me today. Well done to Babikshana and Rithicaa.
Today we were very fortunate to have Dr Zoe Laughlin in from the Institute of Making to talk our Year 8 students about materials and how we use them. This was a timely event with International Women in Engineering day having just been celebrated on 23/06/18.
I would like to wish all students taking examinations over the coming weeks the very best of luck. Most of the hard work has been done, you can do it on the day just relax into it. Eat, sleep, revise, repeat.... Best wishes from Mrs Davis.
What a fantastic weekend to take our Year 7 students on the annual #bushcraft weekend. The girls came back to DSTC having learnt some new basic survival skills and with a healthy glow from being outdoors. Well done to all who went.
We were delighted to welcome Chief Constable Alan Pughsley from #kentpolice and his team for a careers talk at #DSTC yesterday. The girls found It was both informative and inspirational in equal measure.
What a fantastic way to end the term. Our inaugural Spring Fair, that has been organised by our Business Studies students, is in full swing and has been a joy to visit. They are donating proceeds to Barnardos and having fun in the process. Well done to all involved.
Yet again our sporting success is something to celebrate. Today the Year 7 and Year 8 students became Borough Gymnastic Champions. I could not be prouder of these wonderful teams. Well done to everyone who took part and for the staff for their support and encouragement.
