It genuinely warms my heart that there are in fact some folks that had a rough first introduction to me on Twitter (usually because I criticized something they said) who are mutuals now because we can appreciate each other enough to agree to disagree on some things.
Does the left understand how ridiculous it looks to claim anti-Sayed Democrats are more loyal to Israel than America, while simultaneously claiming that any inquiry into El-Sayed’s very real links to the Muslim Brotherhood is an unwarranted attack on his patriotism?
You need a better explanation than playing your tired old "Islamaphobic" card for every objection to this candidate. Being Muslim doesn't earn El-Sayed extra scrutiny, and it doesn't exempt him from scrutiny either.
El-Sayed is the only person standing in El-Sayed’s way. His defenders should stop blaming voters for noticing.
And for all the talk of his supposed talent as a communicator, he keeps struggling with the basics: clear answers, sound judgment, and knowing when his own words are the problem.
André Carson is a Muslim Democrat who has represented Indiana in Congress since 2008 and sat on the House Intelligence Committee. Mehmet Oz is a Muslim Republican who won Pennsylvania's Senate nomination and now runs the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Neither has faced the types of questions, scrutiny, and skepticism that Abdul El-Sayed is facing.
That's because the questions and concerns aren't about El-Sayed's faith. They're about his own words .... words that HE chooses and that offend voters and core Democratic constituencies on a daily basis: constantly defending Hasan Piker and his platform of antisemitic hate and bigotry, calling Israel "blood thirsty " or a "rogue state," hedging on its right to exist as a Jewish state, dodging on the Ayatollah's death, an equivocal response to a terrorist attack on a synagogue in his own state by excusing the terrorist's attempt to murder children, or lying to NBC news about his family's ties to the MB only for unearthed tweets from HIS OWN FAMILY contradict him.
ANY Senate candidate who said those things would be pressed.
@JohnCheese96 Oooh, good list.
I have too many blanks but for body horror, Human Centipede.
Yes, I know. It really isn't that gross, and the body horror is why it took me multiple tries to get through the first 30 min.
It's crazy good if you can handle it.
@hutchinson I have my quibbles having worked on thr Obamacare project, but you are objectively correct.
Medicaid expansion. Apparently you have to pay attention to understand that both shifted risk pools and improved life experience and medical outcomes for millions of people.
Because you're competing with hotels that require none of those things.
Hotels generally don't have dishes to out in the dishwasher, but if the value prop sucks the market decides.
Deal with it.
its just bonkers the new policy @airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?
Is he supposed to change his name?
Did you forget that INCUMBENT literally is printed next to Sullivan's name? Or that they literally don't have the same name? One is a "junior."
As in, Dan Sullivan and Dan Sullivan Jr.

There you go, I helped.
Dems placing a second Dan Sullivan on the ballot in Alaska (a fake candidate designed to conceal who is the actual US Senator running for re-election) is one of the most egregious attacks we have seen on the integrity of American elections. It reveals pure contempt for voters.
