Going back to Tekken and fighting in blue ranks I see that one and done-ing is still very prevalent. I mauled my opponent tekken 8 style with Reina and he left, and I'm like "have we not agreed to play this game? Do we all not know what we signed up for?"
Having recently finished playing this game myself the exploration and combat are easily the game's strength. The story however and characters are simply not that compelling unfortunately.
Twitter really told me this game was mid slop that I should never play and it’s just been fun & cool asf 😭
This is why you should never believe any random person’s opinions here except maybe a few moots you trust
So my job and union have been locked in battle for a contract for 2 years. Well I think the reason is that my union would’ve protected us from layoffs, and days after the layoffs we were going to strike indefinitely. Then the day before the strike the job accepts union terms
Nearly lost my job. Due to budget cuts my department laid off everyone less senior than ME, and even then my direct supervisors had to fight with their supervisors to keep me. My work schedule is shit, but at least I have my job…I get vested in September too.

@Mirage_Castle Tell me about it. This is going to take some time because I've lost a handful of games already where I'm doing the game winning combo and say to myself "I can win if I can do special move into super" then drop it
Day 2 of leverless. Cancels really got me messed up. I can do moves in a lab environment, but cancelling normals into specials into supers is actually super difficult right now. Tried tekken and that was much easier as motions are a lot less used.
