The best teachers know their students but also know their stuff. It’s not an either/or, it's both.

[Queen Naija @queennaija]

one of the scariest gifts to ask God for is discernment, because you’ll start seeing things you don’t want to, start seeing people for who they are, and the blinders fall off, and it’s painful.

[Printpooh @Printpooh]

@queennaija So true. You can't unsee it.

[Zatima @ZatimaOnBET]

Due to the Actors Strike, the cast and crew of “Zatima” will not be able to promote (interviews, press junkets or social media posts) for when Season 2 returns on August 24th!

Let’s continue to get the word out about the new episode. ❤️ #SistasOnBET #ZatimaOnBETPlus

Principals, stock up on Post-it notes for fall! When you visit classrooms, leave a post-it note on their desk telling them how lucky their students are to have them & share something you learned or enjoyed about the visit. I call them "Post-its of Praise"

3 expectations to set the cultural tone of your staff for the new school year
1) Be your Best, whatever your role, do your best
2) No Surprises. If something is wrong, I want to hear it from you, not grapevine
3) We support each other. We're a team, not competitors

[𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 @DrBradJohnson]

Take care of teachers.
