Former mayoral candidates Liam Fogarty and Stephen Yip have today officially launched ReSet Liverpool, a petition-led campaign to force the council to deliver the referendum on governance we were promised. #resetliverpool#localdemocracy@resetliverpool

So much for βall changeβ with the new Jo Anderson. Were promised Anderson by name but not by nature, and like most promises by this council, it lasts as less time than it takes to say it.
Having had to fight to stay open because of the pandemic 'Beechley riding school' for the disabled, been threatened by Anderson's attempt to flog it to his chums at Redrow now facing Β£18000 rental charge by Liverpool council, prior to the pandemic the rental was 'peppercorn'
@Capacity_UK @lpoolcouncil@AlderHey Following on from an email ive received can I ask who pays the wages/project costs for @Capacity_UK involvement in Springfield park, also why has a secret group been set up including meetings on zoom with no community involvement but group leads are all from one political party?
And also remember how it refused to disclose how that lease was secretly extended to a (virtual give away of) 150 years using the same justification? Well this kind of obfuscation has been successfully challenged in the courts. Can it happen here?
Remember when Liverpool council refused to disclose how many bidders there were for the lease to run (the former) municipal golf course at Allerton due to βcommercial sensitivityβ? Well no you probably wonβt because itβs not widely known, but it did...
@ringofparks@saveallertonpri@CaldiesSaved There is nothing protected about this bit of green wedge that was virtually gifted - a lease quietly extended to 150 years with NO fanfare and no competitive tendering - to friend of the council and bestie of our (now almost confirmed) corrupt mayor. This city is a cesspit
@ILoveSeftonPark@LiamThorpECHO You absolutely should be telling people what to do if it means keeping the park tidy and nicer for others, AND controlling vermin. The very idea that pointing out other bins is telling people what to do is quite simply the most insane take so far this week! TELL THEM to jog on!
From day one we all pointed out the potential problems of the bus hub to @Regen_Lpool and were dismissed. Each and every one of them have come true. The people running this city are an embarrassment.
