@united@united and what happens if you don’t cancel! We get screwed??? We have stay at home orders in place- that does not include leisure travel. What then?
This week was full of @bulbapp trainings in @GCCISD & @HoustonISD! Loved seeing our CTE tchrs & CTSO spnsrs excited to use digital portfolios to showcase amazing things happening in their classes/organizations! Teachers-msg me if you want to know more about digital portfolios!
@JenniferElbert Right?! I also learned this year that not being able to ride a bike is also a sign of dyslexia! I think this is great info for our coaches! They could even do targeted exercises that crosses & strengthens both hemispheres which would help our dyslexic kiddos!
PE teachers & Coaches-I thought you might find this interesting! So, dyslexia affects motor skills not just reading/writing/spelling, & I learned that kids with dyslexia struggle w/ jumping jacks b/c of the transfer between the left & right hemispheres! Thought I’d share!
“We see so many entrepreneurs who have dyslexia. When you talk to them, they will tell you that they succeeded not in spite of their disability, but because of it.” https://t.co/wC8RL30aJi
This is why I love project based learning! Can you imagine what our world would be like if our schools revolved around PBL vs standardized testing?! Wish our legislators understood this power!
Very interesting. #CriticalThinking comes naturally to students @MadeByDyslexia but wouldn’t it be amazing to have all lessons taught this way? https://t.co/9lnRbZyguC
My son was recently diagnosed with dyslexia, and I love watching how his mind works! He is incredibly brilliant, and I wish I had understood dyslexia like I do now when I was in the classroom.
What is up with @IMKristenBell acting so angry, unhappy, and bitter in the new season of @veronicamars? I’m just not digging it! Season 4 has been a disappointment! Anyone else?!
@WadeHance Babe, this is a beautiful tribute to your grandpa. We all loved him so much and, although I didn’t know him but only 11 years, I will miss him greatly. I will miss his breakfasts, I will miss the way he played and read with Weston, and I will miss his stories.
