NEW: Republican Voters Against Trump
We are elevating the voices of former Trump voters who have had enough of Donald Trump and will never vote for him again.
@sch47365826@murda981@DrEtiquette@acnewsitics Back yourself up. Name the pork. Any of it. Just one pork. Can you?
If the Inflation Reduction Act is full of pork, it should be easy for you to identify one specific item.
Dont put your full trust behind polling. No one under 50 is answering an unknown number on their cell phone. Case in point:
The recent Alabama election had the Republican up by 5. The Democrat ran on a platform for reproductive rights. She won by 26 points.
The special election in NY this week had the Dem up by 5 in the polls. He won by 35 points.
However, still register to vote and vote blue.
🚨BREAKING: Newly-released January 6th footage, released by Republicans, EXPOSES one of their main lies, that police just stood aside and let attackers flood into the Capitol, according to a veteran Congressional reporter.
Jamie Dupree, the reporter who viewed more than 3 hours of additional January 6th security footage recently released, posted on Twitter "The tapes show the biggest lie about Jan. 6 is that the cops 'opened the doors' to let Trump supporters in. That did not happen."
The conspiracy theory boosted by Trump supporters looks to frame the violent attack on January 6th as an inside job that officers were complicit in. But Dupree's post shows cops desperately trying to hold off the angry mob.
So far, the only "insider" who made it easier for the attack to happen seems to have been the then-Commander in Cheat Trump.
.@RepMTG Your fear of Jack Smith is palpable in this desperate attempt to obstruct an independent counsel. Your proposal to repeal the permanent indefinite appropriation for the Independent Counsel to ostensibly stop Jack Smith is misguided and misleading.
Firstly, the assertion that repealing this funding will halt Smith's investigation overlooks the complex nature of federal funding. Independent Counsels, including Smith, are not solely dependent on this particular appropriation; they can access other Department of Justice resources. Thus, your claim dramatically oversimplifies the situation and misrepresents the robustness of funding mechanisms designed to ensure impartial investigations.
Furthermore, suggesting that the Speaker has the power to compel the Senate to pass targeted legislation reveals a fundamental misunderstanding of our legislative process. The reality is that both chambers of Congress must independently agree on legislation, and the Senate operates with its own set of rules and priorities. Implying otherwise is not just incorrect; it's a disingenuous portrayal of the checks and balances that safeguard our legislative system.
Lastly, the idea that Congress could use its budgetary authority to interfere with an ongoing legal investigation raises profound constitutional and ethical concerns. It suggests a dangerous willingness to undermine the separation of powers that defines our government. Actions like these threaten the independence of our judiciary and set a concerning precedent for political interference in legal matters. Your focus should be on ensuring justice and integrity, not on obstructing it to seek attention. November can't come soon enough.
BREAKING: Donald Trump is dealt a crushing blow as a New York appeals court brutally rejects his attempt to end the gag order in his hush money trial.
And it gets even better...
"We find that Justice Merchan properly weighed petitioner’s First Amendment Rights against the court’s historical commitment to ensuring the fair administration of justice in criminal cases, and the right of persons related or tangentially related to the criminal proceedings from being free from threats, intimidation, harassment, and harm," the court ruled.
Trump's team was desperately trying to convince the court that the gag order is unfair because it supposedly limits his right to free speech and prevents him from responding to testimony from Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen.
Of course, Trump doesn't want to deliver some kind of level-handed response to Daniels and Cohen, he wants to smear and witness intimidate them.
"Justice Merchan properly determined that petitioner’s public statements posed a significant threat to the integrity of the testimony of witnesses and potential witnesses in this case as well," wrote the appeals court.
Please retweet and ❤️ if you fully support the gag order — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. 🚨 #BREAKINGNEWS Michael Cohen said while Donald Trump was President he continued to work for Donald Trump, protect Donald Trump, and lie for Donald Trump.
Michael Cohen was asked why and he said to show his loyalty.
These meetings happened in the Oval office which in itself could be an impeachable offense. 🚨
Former Arizona Republican House Speaker Rusty Bowers on Donald Trump: "I have thought at times, someone born how he was, raised how he was -- he has no idea what a hard life is, and what people have to go through in the real world. He has no idea what courage is, and the last place on Earth that I would want to do evil would be the state of Arizona...My vote will never tarnish his name on a ballot...I'll never vote for him."
