Wouldn’t it make sense to abandon the term ‘Top 5 Leagues’ at some point? The Premier League is so far away from the other four leagues (and the gap is only increasing) that it doesn’t seem sensible to group them as five anymore.
Your thoughts?
Wow. 20-year-old striker Winsley Boteli scored another two (great) goals against Basel yesterday. He’s now on 12 goals in 11 games this season.
So much more to come still…
@alfredfrank_ They will get offers in the future. If they don’t and it turns out we overrated them (which I don’t expect), they also wouldn’t succeed after a big move this summer. Do you get my logic? 😅
They’re in no rush. For now, they should do what’s best for their development.
Here are some of the most exciting talents that stood out to me this weekend!
🇬🇷 Konstantinos Karetsas
🇩🇪🇲🇦 Younes Ebnoutalib
🇧🇷 Guilherme Smith
(+ an honorable mention)

Damn, I really didn’t have Paris Brunner on my radar for this season. He’s on fire for Monaco, scoring 4 in 4 so far. 2 of them in the latest 2-0 win over Marseille.
One to keep an eye on. 👀
Adam Markhiev is so damn good. He, and the rest of this Nürnberg squad, are such a joy to watch!
Already 3 Nürnberg posts on my page… and there’s more to come. 😅
Markhiev is stunning me every time I watch him, way too good for the 2. Bundesliga.
Eintracht Frankfurt defender Jeremiah Maluze went from playing in Germany’s fifth tier for Frankfurt‘s U21s to making his Bundesliga debut (playing the full 90 minutes) today!
And he’s made 15 clearances and won 3/3 ground duels, as well as 13/14 aerials! Take notes! ✍🏼
16-year-old Hamburg left back Louis Lemke is set to make his Bundesliga debut (as a starter) in front of 80.000 against Dortmund this Saturday.
He started for Hamburg in their first DFB Pokal round and scored and assisted. What a way to burst onto the scene. Watch out.
