Since September, Mumia Abu-Jamal's health has been declining at a concerning rate. He has been losing weight and had worrying fluctuations with his blood pressure, which is now being consistently monitored.

Mumia also suffers from psoriasis which has cause severe itching of his skin.

Mumia has been prohibited from walking around the day room so he can only walk within his limited cell.

Mumia underwent bypass surgery two years ago, and has been unable to receive cardiac rehabilitation: including a healthy diet and exercise. The diet is abysmal and the prison has refused to accommodate his medical conditions, and within the past two moths.
