Since September, Mumia Abu-Jamal's health has been declining at a concerning rate. He has been losing weight and had worrying fluctuations with his blood pressure, which is now being consistently monitored.

Mumia underwent bypass surgery two years ago, and has been unable to receive cardiac rehabilitation: including a healthy diet and exercise. The diet is abysmal and the prison has refused to accommodate his medical conditions, and within the past two moths.
