When gatekeepers hold too much power, the owner perishes without realtime knowledge. Given some of the recent events, and some broader ones over the time, BJP’s actions appear to be like that of a headless chicken.
Be it Fadnavis’ U-turn on language issue and claiming to have not ‘bowed down’, or Rekha Gupta’s stupid car ban exercise, be it unbanning the Pak handles, or being unable to put up an identical military-govt stance of Op Sindoor, be it backtracking on caste census, or silence on Bengal… no one sounds more absurd than BJP.
They don’t seem interested in reading the room or even the wall. Apart from the regular whiners, as days pass, even the staunch defenders are finding it hard to defend their stupidity being projected as some would be masterstroke.
World’s largest party is struggling to find a president. Party with third term govt can’t seem to pass bills as required by Constitution, rather wilfully takes the Supreme Court route to abuse the mandate of people.
You shut down those party members, who speak on issues that align with your stance, but opposition makes it sound ‘anti-this or that’. You throw your own people under the bus for speaking the truth, just to calm down some random troll of random party.
BJP has got itself in safe-mode, looks under-confident, and relies heavily on perceived future reactions rather than on its own merit and logic.
It is a sad situation to be in. Mediocrity is being celebrated. Social media campaigns are so 2014 that pages with 14 million get 22k reach. Your most important campaigns like ‘50 years of emergency’ or ‘10 years of digital india’, barely find any narrative space.
No one is going to consume the same recycled words, paper cuttings and archival footage year after year. Your whole approach is old, opposition focussed and mediocre. It lacks originality, creativity and pre-emptiveness. You have become a knee-jerk reaction giving party playing on opposition turf.
Political campaigns have two types: AI generated (thinking it’s cool and trendy) comparative images or a video clip trying to show the bad shape the opposition state is in. There is no third type. When they try their hands at humour, it fails miserably.
Your unpredictable and greatest orator is now so predictable that people switch off their TV after five minutes. They know what he will talk in first hour (we did this and we did that), followed by an hour of ‘supposed’ roasting of opposition.
Change your ways before it is too late. Change your gatekeepers. Overhaul your inner circle who make you believe in ‘sab changa si’, when it is absolutely not.
Do not force your voters to start believing in ‘ek baar sala congress aa hi jaaye, tab ye jagenge’. People have started to look beyond flyovers, airports, toilets, JAM trinity and what not.
Wake up. Fire the gatekeepers. CHANGE.
Glad to meet @MSDESkillIndia Secretary Tiwari to discuss Singapore's involvement in the National Centres of Excellence. Singapore has been a longtime supporter of skilling in India and is always keen to do more - HC Wong

Yesterday, Class XII results were out. So many kids with 90% plus in family and friends. One friend shared his daughter got into Harvard for engineering.
I’m proud. Truly happy for them.
But later that day, a quiet thought crept in…
Operation Sindoor vs. Operation Bunyan Ul Marsoos
Some of the firsts
One :
Realizing the stalemated status or irrelevance of the UNSC, India didn’t seek to request sympathy from the five of the 1945. Operation Sindoor clearly demonstrated a strong sense of self-confidence and real strategic autonomy and sovereignty.
Two:
For the first time, India shredded the notion that terrorists are separate from terrorist backers and thus targeted both. The notion that certain powerful rogue officers of Pakistani State authorize terrorist attacks was also shredded. This is a new paradigm. Another type of deniability must be invented.
Third:
There was a battle going and a war being planned. In the midst of the battle, Pakistan negotiated for a loan from the IMF, which surprisingly approved it. It matters because most likely Pakistan isn’t fit enough to finance a war but has capabilities to engage in battles. A war can't be won with IMF loans anyway.
Fourth:
The strategic patience and cultural restraint have a limit. That limit was tested on April 22 by the Lashkar Teyba terrorists. Perhaps they wanted what followed. They didn’t benefit from their adventure though. Perhaps they wanted to humiliate India publicly. They seem to be mentally stuck in 2008.
Fifth:
Size matters. Every inch of Pakistan was under reach. I always thought the Nur Khan airbase was the best defended base of Pakistan. It isn’t. The grarrison town of Rawilpindi as the heart of Pakistan’s military and its best-known airbase was hit.
Sixth:
Pakistan lost the monopoly over Islamic Fatwa. The Indian ulema presented a fatwa of their own to their own government. Thus, the religious dimension always exploited by Pakistan to earn sympathy from the Muslim Ummah evaporated. Deoband is located in India by the way.
Seventh:
Keeping secrets in a democratic society is next to impossible, but very little leaked out of India, which shows enormous skills in adhering to principles of operational silence and public unity to assist in safeguarding of secrets.
Note: I have seen very little or no visuals from Operation Bunyan Ul Marsoos to comment on. Seemingly, it never took off the way it was propagated. The ceasefire saved Pakistan’s skin. Pakistan military leadership has made statements and claims over their own achievements, but the Indian skies remained open, flights weren’t cancelled, and I haven’t seen visuals of missiles landing in Delhi or Amritsar.
The great Indian scriptures, like the Upanishads, say the world one perceives, the world-view, is an illusion arising in a mind that's shaped by our thoughts. And thoughts are created by what we hear, see, and experience.
Similarly, any disagreement, dispute, divide, deadly clash starts with differing world-views. Be it two babies fighting over a toy or a large group of people fighting their own state.
Hence world-view of everyone is important. Thoughts that shape those views are important. Narratives that create those thoughts are important. Controlling that narrative is important. Countering propaganda that sets narratives is important.
Because, at the end of the day, there's no point fighting our own people and wasting our resources, calling them anti-national and terrorists, after letting our adversaries program large groups of them into having the wrong world-view.
Unfortunately, India has not taken this seriously. In the age of social media and the internet, it has done very little over the last decade to counter adversarial propaganda that is slowly poisoning the minds of our own people.
Many Indians from large groups like Sikhs, Tamils, Biharis, Buddhists, Dalits, North East ethnicities, Muslims, farmers, feminists, animal lovers, LGBTQ etc have been made a target by our adversaries for mental programming.
Using SM and media, they are being programmed to hate other Indians, Indian government, and India itself using critical theory methods and the narrative of "oppressor-oppressed" distilled from communism.
This programming is going on unabated via SM, especially Facebook and Instagram, which have become the de-facto communist-islamist mass propaganda platforms from a DS compromised American company called Meta.
India needs to take hate, divisiveness, misinformation, disinformation, propaganda, vulgarity, perversive and subversive content running freely on our SM and OTT seriously right away.
BJP and Shiv Sena have mastered the art of making irrelevant critics who people have long forgotten - into martyrs. Be it Kunal Kamra or Rana Ayyub.
They should thank their stars that India’s opposition is so listless - that people fear the consequences of voting for them.
