While travelling to Manali, we stopped near Bhuntar at a dhaba adjoining Sukh Sagar Hotel ( address mentioned on sign board) and witnessed shocking negligence—men openly drinking, throwing bottles into the river, and creating discomfort for families and travelers. The dhaba owner is clearly enabling this illegal activity for profit. This kind of reckless behavior and environmental damage cannot be ignored. Urge @PoliceKullu@PoliceKullu@himachalpolice to take strict and immediate action against Dhaba owner who encouraged such illegal activities and entertained these people to create nuisance
Every road I take, every mountain I cross, every river I sit beside they don’t just give peace, they tell stories — of time, of patience, of balance.
And yet, every journey also brings a quiet discomfort.
A plastic bottle where there should be nothing.
Noise where there should be silence.
Carelessness where there should be respect.
I wish I could save you…
not just admire you through pictures and memories,
but protect you from the very people who come to love you.
But maybe saving nature doesn’t need grand gestures.
Maybe it begins with how we show up.
Travel with awareness.
Leave no trace behind.
Respect the locals, the land, the silence.Carry back what doesn’t belong there.
Because the truth is —
the mountains don’t need us to survive but we need them for everything we feel when we’re truly alive.
So if we call ourselves travelers, explorers, mountain lovers let’s also be protectors.

Incident recorded on my way to Umling La, where a group of bikers refused to give pass to other vehicles.
I have immense respect for bikers — the passion, the freedom, the spirit of the open road is truly admirable. 🙌
But having said that, road etiquette is equally important. A small section of riders tend to ignore basic discipline — not giving pass, riding unpredictably, and at times being outright rash.
The road is shared by all of us. A little awareness, a little courtesy, and a little patience can make journeys safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
Respect goes both ways. Ride hard, but ride responsibly. 🛣️
