On a call this morning I was asked how to pronounce my name (not a problem).I was then told my name was “interesting” “it has a lot of vowels” “it’s kinda like an alliteration” “no one would ever guess your name in hangman” and more. What am I to do with this?Please don’t do this

This call was hours ago and I haven’t been able to shake it. It’s not the first time I’ve had people make jokes about my name but I guess it’s the first time I’ve experienced this with a client.

I don’t expect people to know how to pronounce my name. But it is an easy name to pronounce. Nah-Kai (rhymes with sky). That’s it.

@InfoSecSherpa @hackerbae_ Congrats on making the decision!! Only advice I have is to figure out what study plan works best for you and stick to it, the prep courses aren’t always worth it. In the unlikely event you’re unhappy with your score, don’t hesitate to take it again!

Figure out what sounds interesting, what you want to do within privacy, then speak with people doing what you’re interested in. I think it’ll be easier that way!
