Another @letsblinkit festival scam.
They bait you with a “free gift” so you spend more, then later say it’s out of stock and “since it’s free, nothing can be done.”
If you made us pay extra just for it, it’s not a freebie — it’s a scam.

@bhash Shameful!! The customer representative just cuts the call without listening properly!
You wait for them to pick the call, they just said pls wait and without listening future-more they just deduct the call.
PATHETIC #olahyperservice#OlaElectric@ola_supports@bhash@OlaElectric

Today is a big day!
The New Parliament building is being inaugurated. It's pretty and all but you need to understand how it is going to change our democracy forever.
A #MyParliamentMyPride longpost:
Right now, the Lok Sabha has 543 Members of Parliament.
When you divide the total population of India [140 crore] with the number of seats, it comes to roughly 25 lakh people.
Each MP, on average, represents 25 lakh people.
(This varies wildly across India based on population per constituency.)
This number, 543, was last changed in 1976.
Back then, our population was 64 crore, so each MP represented roughly 11 lakh people.
Even though our population more than doubled, the number of MP seats haven't changed for close to 50 years because a legal FREEZE was put in.
(First in 1976 for 25 years, then again in 2001 for 25 years more)
This FREEZE ends in the year 2026 and more seats are likely to be added to both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha using a process called DELIMITATION.
The new Lok Sabha has the capacity of 888 seats. The number of MPs will be increased according to a census that happens AFTER 2026.
***
The Census part is important because:
> Census is conducted every 10 years.
> Latest one happened in 2011.
> Next one was supposed to happen in 2021 but didn't because of the pandemic.
> Govt hasn't really said anything about when this decade's census will happen.
> Govt can do the census after the freeze ends in 2026 because the one for this decade is already pending.
> Or maybe they'll wait till 2031, but somehow I doubt that.
Mota mota what all of this means is the new seat distribution post 2026 will reflect population growth across India.
In the last 50 years, there has been a wild change. Some states have managed to control the growth, some haven't. Some have way more people, some have less. Migration has happened across the board, so that changes everything too.
After Delimitation, states like UP, Bihar, HP, MP, Delhi, Rajasthan will gain proportionately more seats in the new Parliament vs states like Kerala, NER states, Tamil Nadu & WB.
Simply put: The political power dynamic will dramatically shift from states with less population growth vs those with more.
Here, I want to point out, please please don't pay too much attention to which party is in power in what state right now. It doesn't matter in the larger scheme of things.

The new building is pretty and all, I do like it. Looks nice!
What bothers me is that everyone seems to be too focused on either the Sengoi or the opposition boycott. But please understand how dramatically the political power dynamics in the country are about to change.
This Government has been talking about conducting simultaneous elections for years now. They want the Central and state elections to happen at the same time.
My wild theory: 2026 is the perfect storm for delimitation, new census and then simultaneous elections.
Feel good about the new parliament, but all of this is something worth talking about too.
