@TheMauritanian I rented this on Prime. Those fools (Amazon) only have subtitles fo English scenes!? Losing the Arabic, German etc. scenes. Thank god I know French. This is brilliantly cast! What a shame/oversight to not have subtitles throughout. Sorry- ❤️the film #disappointed

#BuffyTheVampireSlayer thoughts on ep 1x6 this ep is very problematic. Xander is rapey, aggressive, and misogynistic. The way they end with Giles knowing her remembers all his actions is gross. Scary how many people skirt the real undertones of inappropriate advances/behaviour 😳

Xander is a horrible character. He as a hyena is so disturbing on so many levels. It’s interesting how they mixed fantasy with real life issues like bullying and sexual assault, especially back then.

Working film gives me such a new view of #BuffyTheVampireSlayer In ep 1x5 where Cordelia is ticked to see Buffy & Owen together. She’s talking about nabbing the next guy. Angel walks in, then when she approaches him, he walks away. Bravo to the #ADs on that timing. Hit the mark!
