It is reiterated that the individuals seen in the video, namely Chandu Chavan, Harendra Yadav and P Narender, were dismissed from service on grounds of indiscipline and unsoldierly conduct. The fourth individual, Shankar Singh Gujjar, is a deserter and disciplinary proceedings are undergoing against him in both military and civil courts.

These individuals are deliberately spreading fake, malicious and misleading narratives on social media to divert attention from their own misconduct and dismissal from service. Citizens are advised not to fall prey to such propaganda and to remain vigilant against misinformation. (1/2)

22 اپریل ہماری اجتماعی یادداشت میں ایک سنجیدہ علامت کے طور پر قائم ہے—ایک ایسا دن جو پہلگام میں ہونے والے اس دل دہلا دینے والے دہشت گرد حملے کی یاد دلاتا ہے جس نے ایک قوم کے ضمیر کو لہولہان کرنے کی کوشش کی۔ لیکن پیچھے مڑ کر دیکھیں تو وہ سانحہ محض تشدد کا واقعہ نہیں تھا؛ بلکہ ان عناصر کی ایک بے بس اور ناکام کوشش تھی جو ایک ایسے کشمیر سے خوفزدہ ہیں جو آخرکار اپنے آپ سے امن میں ہے۔

زمینی سطح پر تبدیلی
گزشتہ سات برسوں میں، کشمیر وادی کی شاہراہوں سے لے کر جنوبی کشمیر کے خاموش دیہات تک سفر کرتے ہوئے، میں نے ایک ایسی حقیقت دیکھی ہے جسے اعداد و شمار اب جا کر بیان کرنا شروع کر رہے ہیں۔ “بدامنی” کا بیانیہ بتدریج “امید اور ترقی” کے بیانیے میں تبدیل ہو رہا ہے۔

2019 میں آرٹیکل 370 کی منسوخی ایک بنیادی تبدیلی کا نقطۂ آغاز ثابت ہوئی۔ اس کے بعد وادی میں ایسی تبدیلیاں رونما ہوئیں جنہیں واضح طور پر دیکھا جا سکتا ہے:

• ہڑتال کلچر کا خاتمہ: وہ دور جب زبردستی بند اور اسپانسر شدہ ہڑتالیں مقامی معیشت کو اربوں کا نقصان پہنچاتی تھیں، اب تقریباً ختم ہو چکا ہے۔

• سیاحت کا احیاء: 2023 اور 2024 میں جموں و کشمیر میں سیاحوں کی تعداد نے ریکارڈ قائم کیا، جو 2 کروڑ سے تجاوز کر گئی۔ یہ محض اعداد نہیں بلکہ کشمیری شکاری بان، ہنرمندوں اور ہوٹل مالکان کی معاشی خودمختاری کی علامت ہے۔

• منظم پتھراؤ کا خاتمہ: وہ واقعات جو کبھی سالانہ ہزاروں کی تعداد میں ہوتے تھے، اب تقریباً ختم ہو چکے ہیں، جس سے نوجوانوں کو ایک جیوپولیٹیکل ہتھیار کے طور پر استعمال ہونے سے نجات ملی ہے۔

سرحد پار سے بے چینی
یہ پیش رفت ان عناصر کے لیے سب سے بڑا خطرہ ہے جو پاکستان کی حمایت سے “کشمیر انڈسٹری” چلاتے ہیں۔ پہلگام حملہ اسی امید کو نقصان پہنچانے کی ایک سوچی سمجھی کوشش تھا۔ جب ترقی وادی کے دور دراز علاقوں تک پہنچتی ہے اور نوجوان پتھروں کی جگہ لیپ ٹاپ اور کرکٹ بیٹ اٹھاتے ہیں، تو تنازع سے فائدہ اٹھانے والوں کی طاقت کمزور پڑ جاتی ہے۔

سرحد پار موجود قوتوں نے پہلگام کو اس پیغام کے طور پر استعمال کرنے کی کوشش کی کہ وادی اب بھی جنگ کا میدان ہے۔ وہ ناکام رہے۔

خاموش اکثریت کا حوصلہ
اس اندوہناک دن کے بعد جو منظر سامنے آیا، وہ سب سے مضبوط جواب تھا۔ دہائیوں بعد پہلی بار “خاموش اکثریت” خاموش نہ رہی۔

“کشمیر کی اصل روح حملے کے دھوئیں میں نہیں، بلکہ ان لوگوں کے نعروں میں نظر آئی جو اس کے خلاف سڑکوں پر نکل آئے۔”

عام کشمیریوں—ماؤں، طلبہ اور بزرگوں—کی جانب سے کھل کر اس خونریزی کی مذمت نے اس تصور کو توڑ دیا کہ دہشت گردی کو مقامی حمایت حاصل ہے۔ یہ نیا کشمیر ہے: ایک ایسا معاشرہ جو خود کو کسی پراکسی جنگ کا مہرہ بننے سے انکار کرتا ہے۔ یہاں لوگ گولی کے بجائے ووٹ اور پناہ گاہ کے بجائے تعلیمی اداروں کا انتخاب کر رہے ہیں۔

عوام کا فیصلہ
دہشت گردی کا ایجنڈا اپنی بنیاد کھو رہا ہے کیونکہ اس کے پاس پیش کرنے کے لیے سوائے غم کے کچھ نہیں۔ کشمیری عوام نے متبادل راستہ دیکھ لیا ہے:

• انفراسٹرکچر: دنیا کے بلند ترین ریلوے پل کی تکمیل اور شاہراہوں کے نیٹ ورک میں توسیع۔

• طرزِ حکمرانی: پنچایتی راج کے ذریعے اختیارات کی نچلی سطح تک منتقلی، جس سے عوام کو اپنے مستقبل کا فیصلہ خود کرنے کا موقع ملا۔

• وقار: ایک ایسی زندگی جہاں بچے کا مستقبل اس کی صلاحیت سے طے ہوتا ہے، نہ کہ سڑکوں کی بے یقینی سے۔

اس سالگرہ پر ہم صرف سوگ نہیں مناتے، بلکہ اس قوم کے آہنی عزم کا جشن بھی مناتے ہیں جس نے دہشت گردی کی آنکھوں میں آنکھیں ڈال کر کہا: “اب بس۔”

تصادم کا دور ختم ہو رہا ہے؛ اور ایک نئے دور کا سورج طلوع ہو رہا ہے—خودمختاری، امن اور بھارت کے ساتھ ایک مضبوط اور اٹوٹ رشتے کا دور۔

Kashi honours 19-year-old Vedamurti Devavrat Rekhe for historic Dandakrama Parayanam blessed by Sringeri Jagadgurus

Kashi witnessed a rare spiritual celebration when 19-year-old Vedamurti Devavrat Mahesh Rekhe was honoured with a golden bracelet (worth ₹5 lakhs) and ₹1,11,116, blessed by Jagadguru Shankaracharyas of Dakshinamnaya Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham. The young scholar from Maharashtra completed the Dandakrama Parayanam of nearly 2000 mantras of the Shukla Yajurveda’s Madhyandini branch in 50 uninterrupted days - a feat accomplished in its classical purity after almost 200 years.

A grand procession from Rathayatra Crossing to Mahmoorganj, featuring musical instruments, shankhadwani, and over 500 Vedic students, transformed the city into a vibrant Vedic festival. Devotees showered flowers and welcomed the procession as a divine yatra.

A special message of blessings to Vedamurti Devavrat Mahesh Rekhe from Sringeri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam was conveyed at the felicitation ceremony by the Asthana vidwan, Dr. Tangirala Shivakumar Sharma.

Scholars emphasised that Dandakrama- considered the crown of Vedic recitation due to its complex svara-patterns and intricate phonetic permutations - has been performed only three times in known history, with Devavrat’s recitation being flawless and completed in the shortest span.

The Parayanam, conducted at Vallabharam Shaligram Sangved Vidyalaya from 2 October to 30 November, was supported by several religious and social institutions of Kashi. Saints, Vedic scholars and dignitaries praised the young scholar and his father & teacher, Vedabrahmasri Mahesh Chandrakant Rekhe (who is the chief examiner of the Shukla Yajurveda Madhyandina Shakha exams conducted by the Veda Poshaka Sabha of the Peetham).

Devavrat’s achievement, under the blessings of the Sringeri Shankaracharyas, stands as a divine reminder that the living Vedic tradition continues to flourish through dedication, discipline and Guru-Kripa.

A rare achievement by the young vedamurti Devvrat Mahesh Rekhe (19yrs). Son of Vedabrahmasri Mahesh Chandrakant Rekhe of Ahilya nagar (MH), vedamurti Devvrat completed reciting nearly 2000 mantras of Shukla Yajurveda Madhyandina Shakha, (dandakrama parayanam) and thus cleared the exam.
The parayanam was over 50 uninterrupted days. @sringerimath says “…Dandakrama- considered the crown of Vedic recitation due to its complex svara-patterns and intricate phonetic permutations - has been performed only three times in known history, with Devavrat’s recitation being flawless and completed in the shortest span.”
