There remains a 4x difference in maternal mortality rates amongst women from Black ethnic backgrounds and a 2x difference amongst women from Asian ethnic backgrounds compared to white women, emphasising the need for a continued focus on action to address these disparities.
@RichieBrave Honestly, I'm looking forward going back to my desk. Working from home with small children is a myth. That said, I'm also concerned because I anticipate a second wave and know that the government consistently and systematically neglects Black people...once again we're at risk.
@vicderbyshire@BBCOne I personally cannot stand the term. It's misleading and grossly places all ethnicity into an English friendly acronym that blurs all of our cultures, customs and beliefs for the sake of convenience. And not ours.
