The shows AoS, Agent Carter, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, Inhumans, The Punisher, Runaways, C&D and Helstrom are canon to MCU.
@curleecronin Hey man. I noticed that the tape in Lee Cronin's The Mummy is from 1923. The voice sounds a bit like Father Marcus from Evil Dead Rise, who appeared in a vinyl from 1923.
Same character? Did a character in your new movie technically meet Ash!? 👀
@Bobs_Diner1985@DreadCentral I like how you post a picture of someone else being wrong rather than actually watch the video of Lee. 😂 LEE IS STILL INVOLVED IN EVIL DEAD 6-7. I think a guy can link whatever he made to whatever else he made. Sam Raimi definitely already knew about it and didn't give a shit.
@Bobs_Diner1985@DreadCentral A relative of the Bixler family from Evil Dead Rise appears. That's an easter egg, yes... but it still connects the films.
@Bobs_Diner1985@DreadCentral It's actually more like this:
1. I make a film
2. You make a standalone sequel to my film that I endorced, with you also being involved in our future films.
3. You make your own film that's connected to your previous film (that's set in the same universe as my films).
See?
@Bobs_Diner1985@DreadCentral -producer on Evil Dead Burn and Evil Dead Wrath.
Do you really think Lee and Sam haven't already spoke about this? Don't attach your childish outbursts onto a chill guy like Sam Raimi.
@Bobs_Diner1985@DreadCentral No I wouldn't. Lee Cronin's The Mummy being connected to Evil Dead Rise means that, within the continuity of Lee Cronin's The Mummy, Evil Dead is canon. Whether the other way around, well... Sam and Lee are both involved in future Evil Dead movies. Lee Cronin is literally a-
@AnoneySFWtan@DreadCentral Ah, true. I don't think that really reveals that it's set in the same universe as anything else, only that it is a loose Lovecraft adaptation.
@Bobs_Diner1985@DreadCentral I'm pretty sure Sam Raimi is chill. He'd probably just say, "sure, why not?"
Here you are, though, saying fuck you to what I can only assume is a friend of Sam simply because he connected his movie to another of his movies. Big deal.
@AnoneySFWtan@DreadCentral Underwater, hey? Are you one of the few people who knows of the Weyland Corp logo being used on a prop alongside Nostromo sound effects in that film?
Most people have no idea about that.
@Bobs_Diner1985@DreadCentral Within the canon of Lee Cronin's The Mummy, Evil Dead Rise happened. Within the canon of Evil Dead Rise, the Evil Dead franchise happened.
Thus, as far as Lee Cronin's The Mummy is concerned, Evil Dead is fully in the same universe. Whether it goes both ways doesn't matter. 🤷♂️
@TjWrittenhouse_@MrCaptainSloth@Vincent1of1@DreadCentral “Bruce came over to Ireland when we were working on the sound and I asked him if he would do this teeny, tiny, little cameo for me. And the fun part is, that’s not necessarily Bruce Campbell playing someone else – that could very well be Ash Williams.”
