After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision that Dying Light: The Beast will no longer be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Dying Light: The Beast was built from the ground up to take full advantage of current-generation hardware. Its open world, advanced visuals, and fluid combat and traversal all depend on processing power and memory that previous-generation consoles simply cannot provide. As development progressed, it became clear that bringing the game to those platforms would require compromises that would prevent us from delivering the experience we set out to create.
This was not a matter of choosing to leave those platforms behind. Rather, it reflected the technical realities of development and our commitment to delivering the best possible experience.
We know many of you were looking forward to playing on PS4 or Xbox One, and we are truly sorry for the disappointment this causes. Anyone who was expecting to play on either platform will be eligible for a refund.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
🚨 WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT DIGITAL VS PHYSICAL GAMES 🚨
According to an analysis by Tweakers, gamers can save serious money by buying physical games instead of digital copies. 💿
✅ Savings can reach up to €50 per game compared to PSN prices.
✅ Competition between retailers often makes physical games much more affordable.
Physical games still matter. 💿🔥

To the folks still defending Sony's pathetic decision to remove physical media from their production, here's a solid reminder why I will never support and you shouldn't either.
I had to literally sue Playstation because my OG account was wrongfully banned and it took me 3 years to get it back. All of my licenses and games I paid for digitally were gone. $3,000 worth of items gone due to something that was never my fault in the first place. It took me fighting with support and getting a lawyer involved and taking them to court to get them to reverse the decision.

Some Call of Duty: Black Ops players on PS4 and PS5 are warning about a new hack that can ruin multiplayer progress.
Hackers are using a negative XP exploit that drops players below level 1.
Affected players may get locked out of multiplayer, as the game won’t let accounts level up normally.
Players are advised to leave suspicious lobbies immediately and avoid anyone advertising modded or XP lobbies until Activision releases a fix.
Former PlayStation Store SVP says Sony does not set PS Store pricing, individual publishers do, and therefore Sony does not have a monopoly
If you’re mad about digital prices, complain to publishers, not Sony. Sony has no say in 3rd-party store prices

In 2028 you'll be able to buy a CD, a Vinyl Record, a DVD, a Blu Ray, 4K Blu Ray, and a book for all the lastest releases.
But you won't be able to buy a physical copy of the latest PlayStation release.
The UK’s Entertainment Retailers Association called out Sony for killing physical PlayStation games in 2028.
They said it’s “a triumph of corporate convenience over consumer choice” and that physical discs actually give players real ownership — the ability to buy, sell, trade, lend and keep games without depending on Sony’s servers.
Sony is really out here trying to force everyone into their digital prison while pretending it’s progress.
Physical isn’t dead because it’s outdated. It’s being killed because it doesn’t let them control and milk you forever.
It's funny that the Ultra Instinct part of USV Quelled is entirely cosmetic, Goku doesn't auto dodge or really do anything Ui related in this form lmao

EA confirms Need for Speed and Burnout are dead, Criterion Games to focus on the Battlefield franchise
"An executive clarifies that no new Need for Speed title is in the works, even as the studio celebrates its 30th anniversary. The NFS and Burnout franchises are essentially on an indefinite hiatus."
“We are not here to talk about the past. We are solely focused on Battlefield,” says VP & GM of Battlefield Studios Europe, Rebecka Coutaz.
Need for Speed declined greatly over the last decade, prompting EA to place the IP on an indefinite hold.

The UK’s Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA) has criticised Sony’s decision to stop producing new physical PlayStation games from 2028, calling it “a triumph of corporate convenience over consumer choice.”
ERA CEO Kim Bayley said removing discs does not represent progress and said that physical games give players more freedom by allowing them to buy, sell, trade, lend and keep games without relying on digital storefronts.
The group warned that ending physical releases could reduce competition, leave players with fewer options and make game preservation more difficult.
The Call of Duty BO1/BO2 ports were fire for about six games then:
- Retards abusing XP lobbies to skip progression
- Every game is a 4v5 with no mid-match players joining
- Every lobby breaks after each game
- Game lags to the point it’s barely playable
How did they manage to take 2 15+ year old games and make them perform worse on modern hardware?
I really like that at the end Mark didn't hate on six and actually saw her point of view and kept in mind and actually talked about how they're just kids trying to survive instead of full on hating
Question:
If PlayStation goes all digital and the only way you can buy games is through their closed storefront/ecosystem...
wouldn't it just make sense for gamers to seriously consider Steam at that point since it has much better customer service and support?
