Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh held a bilateral meeting with Defence Minister of the Republic of Korea, Mr Ahn Gyu Back, in Seoul today. The two leaders reviewed the entire spectrum of India–ROK defence and strategic ties, and discussed avenues to further enhance cooperation in defence industry, emerging technologies and regional security.

During the meeting, agreements on Defence Cyber Cooperation, cooperation between National Defence College of India and Korea National Defence University of RoK, and @UNPeacekeeping Cooperation were exchanged, adding new momentum to the India–ROK Special Strategic Partnership.

Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh called on the General Secretary and President of Vietnam Mr To Lam during his visit to Vietnam and conveyed warm greetings from Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi. He reaffirmed India’s commitment to further deepen #defencecooperation, a key pillar of the #IndiaVietnam Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

India and Vietnam share a strong and enduring bond rooted in mutual trust, shared values and close cooperation in defence, security and regional stability. The discussions reflected the shared resolve of both countries to further strengthen bilateral ties and contribute towards peace, stability and prosperity in the #IndoPacific region.

General Anil Chauhan #CDS released the book “Ek Sainik Ki Diary (1943–1971) Hony Capt Mohar Singh Bainsla” at a ceremony held at Headquarters @SWComd_IA , Jaipur, attended by veterans, civil dignitaries and senior military officers. Authored by Ms Sunita Bainsla, IRS (Retd), the book presents the personal diary of Honorary Captain Mohar Singh Bainsla of 3 Rajput Battalion, offering a rare first-hand account of nearly three decades of military service during defining moments of India’s history, including the 1947-48, 1962 and 1965 wars.

Speaking on the occasion, the #CDS lauded the effort to preserve this invaluable piece of military history, noting that the diary reflects the joys, hardships, professional integrity and unwavering patriotism of the Indian soldier.

The account also stands as a tribute to the courage, sacrifice and enduring spirit of the Indian Defence Forces.

The second edition of the Joint Commanders’ Conference, themed ‘Military Capability in New Domains’, was held on 7-8 May 2026 at @SWComd_IA in Jaipur. #JCC2026 brought together the top leadership of the Indian Defence Forces and Ministry of Defence to deliberate on future warfare, cyber, space and cognitive domains, while advancing #Aatmanirbharta through innovation, indigenisation and civil-military fusion.

To commemorate the anniversary of #OpSindoor, Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh released a documentary film on #OperationSindoor on the first day of the conference. He also released Vision 2047 and the Joint Doctrine for Integrated Communication Architecture & Air Defence.
