Former 🏡 of Mid South Moments, still ✍️ wrestling but also finding time to comment & complain about other things. Check out the show archive or me on @rwrpoduk
@IANdrewDiceClay There’s a corner somewhere from Mexico ‘70 where the player boots it straight out for a throw in the other side as hard as possible. I’ve spent hours trying to find that clip, but will always have the memory of laughing for about ten mins the only time I saw it
@o_reachtaire Yep - 5pm in South London where I was. I got in from school to Sky having been installed and then watched my first ever World Cup game. Still probably a top 20 day of my entire life
I hope the surgeon who stayed up until 1am to remove my appendix in a Cancun hospital 15 days after WrestleMania in 2018 is having a wonderful day & enjoys this game very much 🇲🇽 #WorldCup
@joe_284 I once went to a UFC in Manchester that was 3am to 6am with the main event kicking off around 5:20am & I can’t say it wasn’t really fun.
Saturday night/Sunday will be a great and unique experience - very best of luck on the night & the rest of the tournament 👍
@1called_manders@RevProUK I’m also subscribed to the On Demand service, and will never cancel that - as as long as there is a RevPro they will get my monthly fee
So it looks to be Oku vs Mills at Wembley Arena.
I know they’re in London all the time, but the lack of big RevPro shows at either York Hall or Crystal Palace for so long has really taken me out of the product.
Hopefully a good one on the eve of All In, & sub 4.5 hours
@1called_manders@RevProUK Certainly wasn’t meant as a criticism, I probably attended 90% of York Hall/CP shows since around 2014 - higher % post 2018. For whatever reason the ‘Live in London’ stuff has passed me by, perhaps I need a rethink but time & £ are precious. FWIW I bought Wembley tickets day 1
@deanobobs_ Yeah I think the fact it doesn’t appear to be out at all isn’t great news.
There’s clearly been a tactic to keep the big shows away from London, we’ll see if it works.
It’s a big big ask this year with All In topping out around 35k ish to convert 10% to attend Wembley Arena
