@TheEggman64 I work in retail, and my suspicion is that it’s to help customers differentiate the difference between Switch 1 and Switch 2 Joy-Cons. It sounds silly, but you’d be surprised at how many times I see customers come back asking to refund/exchange them for the right kind.

@sonicpulsar@TRIPSTER0 This guy’s not worth anyone’s time. Just stirs and riles people up with rage bait for clicks/views.
(But also lacks basic reading comprehension and understanding)
@RSGabe1 I’ll be playing it to support! If the Switch 2 can be my all in one (as it should be), then I will buy and play this game primarily on Switch 2!
@NintendoFanGirl Or… they’ll eat the cost of software to install more hardware while supplies last. Lots of customers are already familiar with the $499 process tag thanks to the MKW bundle, so this new bundle will help to make it feel like nothing’s changed.
@JohnnyGaming9 People are still viewing consoles through a 2006 mindset where the PS3/Xbox 360 needed to become “all-in-one entertainment systems” because most households didn’t already have 5 better devices for media consumption. Nintendo’s strength has never been multimedia dominance.
