Alana Jameson

Lecturer @ HWLS wanting my students to love learning this exciting area of law!

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

@Raecious did you see my clarification on signing of wills re the testator and witnesses?

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

For T&T and SLU, the witnesses need to sign in the presence of the T, AND in the presence of each other.

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

The witnesses both need to be in the presence of the testator but do not need to execute in the presence of each other.

All clear?

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

OK OECS folks, including Rae and Mr. Hood, please convey to your colleagues that the will is to be executed in the presence of two witnesses

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

@AlanaJameson Please students of HWLS, do not follow me personally but go and follow me @Probate lecturer.

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

@Raecious Was just reading your legislation with respect to where the T needs to sign the will.

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

@Raecious Great! When you say, "prescribe form", what is the prescribed form of your territory?

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

Hello everyone! Welcome to new followers. Could you tweet back what makes a will a will? What are some of its characteristics?

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

@bannisettegeor That is great news! Hope they maintain the enthusiasm after their first assignment!

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

Fact patterns for Probate class are available at the Administrative office. See whether you can go before class starts please.
Thanks!

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

@Benjaminhoodie care to elaborate?

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

I am happy to see more people joining in! Great! Could you let me know the difference between a mutual and joint will?

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

@Benjaminhoodie but what about mutual wills and joint wills? What is the difference between the two?

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

@bannisettegeor so true! Relevance is the key. This course is one that the students can easily relate to. Hoping that they get it!

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

#readyourlegislation what is the legislation for your territory that deals with wills and their formalities?

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]

Welcome to those who have tweeted so far. Could you tell me the different types of wills, other than a standard will?

[Alana Jameson @Probatelecturer]
