I’m fighting for a western civilization where none of them had to die.
We’re not fighting red vs. blue.
We’re fighting good vs. evil.
Darkness vs. light.
We must win.
The French folding buttery dough 1000 times to make the flakiest croissant is spiritually isomorphic to the Japanese folding steel 1000 times to make the strongest katana
@travisk I love your framing of the golden age. Inspired by it, I took it a step further:
The Golden Age will be upon us when the surface of the Earth is reserved for beauty, man-made or natural. Everything of utility occurs either beneath the surface of the Earth or in space.
@Devon_Eriksen_ I was thinking about your post and I think utility needs to be removed from be surface of the Earth. Everything that exists for a utilitarian purpose should only be tolerated below the surface of the Earth or in space.
The Earth should be a place of beauty.
@Devon_Eriksen_ I love @travisk description of the Golden Age: “When the means of growing, mining, manufacturing and moving physical things becomes fully divorced from human labor.”
Now just add: “and occurs in space”
