Congrats to Senior OF Logan Sutton on 2nd Team Suburban Red All Conference. Sutton hit .300 with 33 hits, 8 doubles, 1 triple, 2 HR’s and 22 RBI’s. Sutton drew 24 walks, stole 14 bags and a .879 OPS. Defensively, Sutton was a dependable outfielder in center, right field and at SS this season for the Jays. 54 PO and 23 Assists a plus defender inside and outside. @Langhorstpicts
Congrats to Senior INF Jonathan Pearcy on 1ST TEAM Suburban Red All Conference. Pearcy was one of the most consistent and productive hitters this season, hitting .395 with 45 hits, 15 doubles, 1 triple, 4 HR’s and 34 RBI posting a 1.160 OPS. Pearcy stole 7 bags, walked 22 times, had a .511 OBP, only striking out 4 times in 114 AB’s that’s incredible! Defensively, Pearce was one of the best 1B to play that position in our school’s history with 254 PO’s saving many many throws this year. @Langhorstpicts
Congrats to Senior UTIL/P Grady Coppinger on 1ST TEAM Suburban Red All Conference and PLAYER OF THE YEAR. Coppinger was one of the top two-way players in the state, offensively, Grady hit .374 with 43 hits, 12 doubles, 5 triples, 1 HR and 27 RBI while posting a 1.029 OPS. He also added 12 SB’s. Defensively, Grady played OF, 32 PO with 16 assists, gold glove defender as a Pitcher, he fielded his position! On the mound, Copp dominated hitters all season, finishing with a 7-2 record, 1 SV, a 1.72 ERA across 57 IP striking out 75 batters with a .156 BAA. During conference play, Copp was nearly untouchable, 4-0 with a 0.56 ERA, 34 K’s, 25 IP limiting hitters to a .108 average. 👊 @Langhorstpicts
