The issue with Fishback isn’t his opinions generally, it’s his approach. Black violence is obviously an issue, but the average Republican (who is white and older) has been brainwashed to think any mention of race is simply racism or “race baiting”, so therefore they won’t vote for him.

Byron doesn’t seem like he is as good on the issues unfortunately, but he will almost certainly be governor.
