#potato planting at pace in West Midlands this week.
Soil temperatures around 5-6C but soil conditions are very good.
Great weather forecast for next 7 days at least. There’ll be a lot planted next week.

@Agronomy_Guy Couldn’t agree more. One half of a field will always out yield the other half. Natural variation and simple statistics.

[Produce Solutions @ProduceSolution]

@PotatoHouseUK You can’t really offend anyone by referring to “potatoes” when in polite company - and only slipping into your favourite vernacular in the pub - “tatties” or “spuds” - they’re all fabulous!

[Produce Solutions @ProduceSolution]

@GoodgerSimon @jsedgwick67 @fenboy01 @hillson_alison @jwrooke @dgwhoyles @agronomytrainer @MylesForberr Finding instances in Shrops/Staffs where we wouldn't have expected to see it yet - and in the base of the canopy.
Also some crops in Norfolk/Suffolk where opportunities to travel have been very limited.
