I recall our great meeting with President Trump back in September, when we discussed in detail the Ukraine-U.S. strategic partnership, the Victory Plan, and ways to put an end to Russian aggression against Ukraine.

I appreciate President Trump’s commitment to the “peace through strength” approach in global affairs. This is exactly the principle that can practically bring just peace in Ukraine closer. I am hopeful that we will put it into action together.

We look forward to an era of a strong United States of America under President Trump’s decisive leadership. We rely on continued strong bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States.

We are interested in developing mutually beneficial political and economic cooperation that will benefit both of our nations. Ukraine, as one of Europe's strongest military powers, is committed to ensuring long-term peace and security in Europe and the Transatlantic community with the support of our allies.

I am looking forward to personally congratulating President Trump and discussing ways to strengthen Ukraine's strategic partnership with the United States.

With the historic decision of @POTUS to provide Ukraine a $20B loan backed by interest earned on immobilized Russian sovereign assets, our strategic partners have taken a significant step towards supporting Ukraine’s fight for freedom and holding Russia accountable.

We must win this fight. It’s only fair that Russia pays for its aggression and the destruction it has caused in Ukraine.

I’m deeply grateful to @POTUS, @SecYellen, and everyone who worked on the ERA loan for their leadership and tremendous work to make this happen after the G7 leaders’ decision.

I also want to thank the US Congress for passing the bipartisan REPO for Ukrainians Act, which sent a clear statement that Russian sovereign assets frozen should be confiscated and provided to Ukraine.

A russian guided bomb hit a residential building in Kharkiv today. Dozens of people were injured, including children. The rescue operation is underway. We are helping all the people affected. To prevent such tragedies, Ukraine should be given the opportunity to destroy military targets on the territory of russia. This requires more weapons and the determination of our partners. We must stop the terror and protect the lives of peaceful people.

Once again and again. #Russia never tires of demonstrating as openly as possible the genocidal type of war it is waging in #Ukraine... This time a deliberate strike on the center of #Kharkiv, on a multi-story building, with a guided aerial bomb. Deliberately, carefully thought out, with quite specific intent - to once again convince the world of its true intentions. And to test the world to see how long it is prepared to look blankly at unconditional and premeditated war crimes against civilians.

Of course, one can expect a serial killer (#Rf) to voluntarily give up his favorite thing to do, for which it is not punished. But still it is better to force Russia to a just peace and punish the criminals by equipping Ukraine with anti-missile systems and missiles, as well as lifting informal bans on destroying military facilities, including those where strategic aviation is based, deep inside Russia. It's all quite obvious by now...

A significant part of this attack are missiles launched from 11 Tu-95 and six Tu-22 strategic bombers. These planes are irreplaceable, Russia does not produce them anymore. Destroy them on airfields - and no mass missile attack would be possible. Why do you block this, @POTUS?
